Lila Levinson

Lila helped us remodel our entire house. Without her advise and steadfastness with contractors, we would probably never have seen a completed job. She is terrific. Never did she try to impose her taste on us, but she did lead us in the right direction when she felt we were making unwise decisions.. We loved her calmness, honesty, and professionalism. Through this job, we became friends--I think that says it all!

Lila Levinson, owner of Accent on Design, has taken two major renovations of our home from inception to completion with tremendous artistic ability and with depth of knowledge in all aspects of each project: 1) total remodel of the kitchen, family room, dining room and living room; 2) complete redesign of three bathrooms, master bedroom, guest bedroom, laundry room and entry tile. Lila is a dynamic mentor who communicated with us warmly and clearly. After she obtained an understanding of our lifestlye and design preferences, she guided us to creative resources and choices and ably explained the underlying reasons for each of her design and structural recommendations. We continue to thoroughly enjoy and appreciate Lila and the results!

Lila is hands down one of the best designers I've worked with as a cabinet shop owner. She not only has an excellent eye for style, detail and color but she is one of the few designers I've worked with that fully understands the construction process. I can talk to her as if she were a general contractor. That's hard to find!

Lila provided me with complete confidence in our extended kitchen/house remodel. I knew basically what I wanted and she was able to make it so much better with her design aesthetics and excellent taste! She took all the guesswork out of decisions from paint to floor stain to cabinet color and made them all work together. She knew where to spend the money and where to save it for maximum effect. For the first time my home doesn't look like a weekend DIY project! She also has excellent communication skills and worked very well with the contractor. I highly recommend her and have!

I worked with Lila on fireplace mantel and architectural elements in limestone. Based on client's concept project was done on time and budget. Lila able to take a lead and at same time open to listen. Her intuition and knowledge deliver high quality results.

I have worked with Lila Levinson at Accent On Design for the last 15 years in many capacities. She has an amazing gift for working with the most difficult project and making it look easy. Her design skills are always beautiful and all very different. She can create a contemporary look for one client and the next day she is working on a Tuscan style home that is totally different. One thing I admire about Lila is her ability to make the client feel comfortable and confident with her work. Most of the time her clients end up being good friends with her and use her over and over again every time they remodel or move into a new home. I would highly recommend her to any one that wants a dedicated, honest and talented designer.

Lila and I have worked together on quite a number of jobs over the past 5 years or so. All of the jobs we have done together have turned out quite nicely. Lila works well with her customers, as well with her contractors. Her customers are very pleased with her designs and the finished products. I would highly recommend Lila to anyone interested in having her consult and design.
