COASTROAD Hearth & Patio

Tom Parks replied to a post that I made about problems I was having with a Monessen fireplace. Even though he had nothing to gain financially, he did everything but drive the 1200 miles between us to get our fireplace working correctly. He was able to make recommendations from emails and photographs and took the time to explain the technical aspects of the problem. I truly believe that if he and the other staff at Coastroad that I had the pleasure of speaking to, had been our dealer, our problems probably would have been resolved a long time ago. Monessen is very lucky to have a company like Coastroad backing their product. Even though Tom defended Monessen's policy on providing all customer service through their dealers, I think they should take lessons from Coastroad on consumer relationships.

I was introduced to Tom via his response to several issues about home fireplace quandaries within the "Houzz App". He is very responsive to what initially seem to be complex technical questions that people, as well as other pros, post to the Houzz forums' chat threads seeking advice and clarification. I say 'initially' because Tom's obvious depth of expertise nails down the issues with clear physics, economics, and design construction answers, which leave the learner confident in making quite critical decisions. On the CoastRoad website Mr. Parks, the GM, is referred to as the 'design Guru'. He was very responsive and immediately put me in touch with colleagues in my area of the country to help me to give them the business. Their shop couldn't do what I needed so I went back to Tom and they completed my project. What a pleasure he was to work with! Professional. Responsive. Timely. Helpful. Beautiful work.
