I have worked with Carolyn and her team for almost two years now in overseeing a complete renovation to our newly acquired home in Nantucket. My entire experience was beyond pleasurable and exceeded my expectations for such a large project that we were conquering within limiting time constraints. The entire house was beautifully transformed into a home of utter beauty and tranquility. From advice on the design and layout of the house, taking into consideration the practicality and functionality of its flow, to the wall color, room-by-room furnishings and tasteful fabrics selected, Carolyn's talent and experience were key to each and every decision. Every person that steps foot in our house experiences the same reaction that we have each and every time - one of tranquility and comfort while being surrounded by sheer elegance and ease.

I have worked on numerous projects with Carolyn Thayer Interiors over last 6 years . It is such pleasure to work with people who LOVE their job! And that shows every time at the end of project when clients are super happy and love their new home design . Carolyn works closely with her clients , listening to their needs and desires and then puts in her superb touch to everything , making the design flow to confirm with client`s dreams . I highly recommend her to anyone !

Carolyn was the interior designer for our new home on Nantucket, which we moved into in early July 2017. Carolyn has a great sense of style and was very responsive. She worked collaboratively with my husband and me as well as with our architect and builder, and we couldn't be happier with our final product!

i hired Carolyn to design and install window treatments for our century old beach house in Old Lyme on the Long Island Sound. The windows were of varied sizes and located in 3 different rooms, so she need to be creative in her choice of design. Once installed, the flow is seamless. They look like they were always there and pulled the rooms together in style. Carolyn is a delight to work with, professional, approachable, and very knowledgeable at her craft. i will be calling Carolyn Thayer Interiors again!

We recently completed a design project with Carolyn. We renovated a house and Carolyn was able to help us transform it to an absolutely beautiful home. Carolyn furnished the entire house, including 5 bedrooms, living room, dining room, and a large family room in the lower level. She also helped with cabinets, countertops and backsplash in the kitchen, as well as the tile selections in 4 bathrooms. While we had to do most of the work remotely, every aspect of the job was perfect. She was always responsive to emails and phone calls, and kept the project on budget. I loved her team who made the window treatments, they were extremely professional and did a beautiful job. Carolyn was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend working with her.

There collaboration gives a unique style and a personal touch to their projects. I would highly recommend Carolyn Thayer interiors. They do an excellent job.
