I hired Signature Spaces to design and remodel my unfinished basement. The result is a beautiful space that people literally say "wow' when they first see it. We now have a terrific family room, full bath, gorgeous bar, and tons of storage. It has added tremendous value and living space to our home. Dave was very patient as we worked through the process to get exactly what we wanted. The pictures he provided at the beginning helped us envision what the end product would look like and helped us decide on the final design.

Dave Mecherly, Signature Spaces, has completed 2 projects with us. He did a whole house remodel on our summer home, and he remodeled the kitchen in our permanent residence. With both projects we are as happy today with the results as we were the day they were finished, and would change nothing. Dave has a unique ability to understand what you want even when you may not yet understand it. He listens carefully to what your plans for the space are and then comes up with a plan to meet your needs. He shares his years of experience, what works and what doesn't work. In addition he is innovative and willing to share ideas one would never think of themselves. He is a fantastic carpenter, and uses quality products. He makes every inch of space useful. Dave is always honest, about design possibilities and cost. You know exactly what will happen and when, and how much it will cost. He works to make the project what you want it to be rather than get it done fast or cheaply. We would never use anone else for a design and build project.

This was a kitchen / powder room / family room remodel. Dave, the owner of Signature Spaces, was very patient with us as we worked together to identify our needs and desires. He was willing to guide us with his knowledge, and accept our input when coming up with the final design. Dave was able to provide us with the visuals that we needed to "see" the project in our minds. He brought in some excellent sub-contractors; all their work was fabulous. While Dave is a carpenter by profession, he also has a designer's eye for details and decorating. Even though there were time that we were skeptical about some of his decisions, Dave usually turned out to be right.
