When deciding on which roofing company to hire to replace our roof with mainly sloping areas combined with a small flat roof, I interviewed seven companies and selected Best West Roofing. They were not the lowest bidder but had a lot going for them that compensated for their higher, but still reasonable price. From the beginning, there was very clear communication from the foreman, and throughout they were flexible and adaptable. When plans needed to change either in timing or in executing a detail on a roof, they were right on it. It was clear that they had win-win scenarios in mind, and I found working with them very easy, pleasant and stress-free. The foreman also demonstrated impressive understanding of the details on how our unusual roof needed to be worked on. He also noticed issues with our siding (part of it needed to be replaced), with the skylights (some had to be replaced too) and offered solutions that worked well for both of us. The crew on site was competent, responsible while also easy going and friendly. Were punctual, cleaned up the site each day, used appropriate safety equipment. At the end of the job the foreman returned and double checked everything and fixed the minor items like gutter screws tightened etc. Overall, I am very pleased with the job they did and would hire them again.

I found BestWest Roofing through friends. A squirrel ripped a hole in our roof during the rainiest week in Vancouver. I called BestWest Roofing in the evening and they came the next morning to see if they could fix the leak. They did, and asked if I wanted a quote on my roof. Brock was the one that did the quote. He gave me a breakdown of all the costs and gave me alternative options for costs savings. We were able to book the job while my family and I were out of town. When we came back home, a new roof was on our house, but there was no evidence that any construction had been done on our property; the yard was clean, and there was no old roof garbage. It was such a nice surprise. The investment of a new roof an be costly but I totally feel like I got my money's worth and then some with BestWest Roofing.
