The kitchen designer you need is Robin Denker. Robin is passionate about designing a kitchen that fits your needs. She began the process by coming to my home to see what I use and store in the kitchen. I felt her excitement for the project as the ideas poured out. Her extensive knowledge, abundant creativity and years of experience came through as we spoke about the many possibilities. The plans were always to gut the kitchen and change the footprint- Robin took the ball and ran. She went far above and beyond on this project. Robin combined a multitude of interesting materials to create an awesome kitchen. She balanced bold granite with a quiet Caesar Stone. She combined porcelain floor tile that ‘disappeared’ with gorgeous glass tile for the back splash that acted as the ‘eye candy’ for the kitchen. She mixed rich wood cabinets with stainless steel appliances. Robin frequently reminded me that there needed to be one place to rest your eyes- a focal point and not everything should make a bold statement. She guided me as I chose the hard surfaces and cabinets. Robin has an amazing eye for color and purposefully picked colors that blended with the existing color scheme of the recent 1st floor remodel. Robin pays tremendous attention to detail: furniture legs on the island, heavy duty hinges for the drawers that store le creuset pots, waterfall effect of the granite from level to level so it appears seamless, outlets hidden below the upper cabinets so as not to interrupt the beauty of the backsplash, cabinet with a deep drawer for tall oil bottles adjacent to the range top for ease of use, cabinet filled with multiple drawers for seasonings jars on the opposite side of the range top also for ease of use while cooking, knife block drawer insert for safe storage, cabinet specifically designed for oversized trays, multiple electrical outlets inside the appliance garage, 2 tiered drawer that measures the same height as the adjacent warming drawer, drawer with pegboard and pegs to keep the dishes from moving, a mixture of both inset and overlay drawers, lighting in purposeful locations- the list goes on and on. Robin spent endless hours diagramming the layout, communicating with me and the contractors so the installation went off without any hiccups. Robin is an accomplished cook and was able to recommend appliances based on my needs. I asked her for suggestions when I selected the kitchen sink and I adore my sink. There are a myriad amount of decisions that need to be made when remodeling a kitchen and Robin guided me through the process so I wasn’t overwhelmed. She is a wealth of information. Robin tried very hard to keep me to a timeline and occasionally expressed her frustration and concern at missing promotions. She is budget conscious and tried to save me money. Robin created an awesome kitchen that makes me want to cook and even rinse dishes. My favorite part of the kitchen is the custom designed cabinet with faux iron doors, accent wood shelves and puk lighting. It makes me smile. Robin’s enthusiasm continued throughout the project and she even created an oversized desk area that is seamless with the kitchen. Robin is involved in the project from soup to nuts. She recommends professionals that will carry out her vision. She communicates with them often and is frequently at the site. Hiring Robin is the best decision you will make.

My husband and I selected Kitchens By Design because of the owner, Robin Denker. We wanted a beautiful, but highly functional kitchen with storage. Robin's exquisite, and impeccable aesthetic sense, her attention to detail, and her vision for our house all guided us to a most amazing kitchen. Robin quickly caught our vision for the kitchen, listened, and then took it to another level of design. My kitchen was completely redone. Absolutely top notch. The job was planned to the last detail, and came off without a hitch. From gutting the old kitchen, to construction and installation of the new fixtures, granite and glass tile, all was done expertly. I was provided guidance in design choices which suggestions of style and color, however, the final decision of how to design was up to me. I was accompanied to the appliance store, and again, provided guidance as to smart choices of fixtures, so not to spend more than necessary, but also to be sure the purchases were spot on. Time of completion and costs were prudently estimated, and both fell within reasonable constraints. The contractors on the job, communicated directly with the designer, leaving me with no stress of dealing with the day to day issues which always arise with a construction/design endeavor.

Robin was so very helpful, professional, courteous, and kind as she navigated us through a kitchen re-model. I always felt we were her first priority even though I know she was working with other clients at the time. I love my kitchen and would recommend her to anyone !!

We chose Kitchens By Design to design our whole kitchen remodel. We have done two whole house remodles over the years, and we are very selective with whom we work with. Robin at Kitchens By Design, was very accommodating, patient, and easy to work with. We chose a Rustic Cherry for our perimeter cabinets. For our island cabinets we chose a slightly distressed antique white. Just gorgeous! We are very happy with the lay out and flow of the kitchen. We ordered our beautiful Crystal cabinets through Robin and completed 2 bathrooms with them as the focal point. She was extremely helpful during all phases of construction including ordering new parts as needed due to problems with sub-contractors not protecting them adequately during tile installation. She was also very prompt in all requests and supplied all necessary information to us and the contractor allowing a true team approach to the work. Consequently, we got the bathrooms of our dreams!

This is our second home remodel working with Robin at Kitchens by Design. She designed the kitchen cabinets, master bathroom vanity, extra bathroom vanity and the laundry room cabinets. Robin was great at listening to our wants and needs, she creatively came up with solutions and the final design for each room is really spectacular. We couldn't be happier.
