When we got introduced to the team at Stockholm Construction, we were still in the early stages of wanting a custom home built and in need of a property to build on. In our first meeting we explained our situation and what kind of home we ultimately wanted. They listened attentively and actually found us the perfect park backing property for our new home. They helped design the home and have the drawings drafted, giving us great advice throughout the whole process. Based on the research we had done prior to hiring them, their extensive network of sub-trades and suppliers allowed us to save on supplies and labor. We were well informed and updated regularly on what would be taking place on the site, and our input was always taken into consideration. As construction progressed it became clear just how passionate these guys are about their work, as their attention to detail and desire for perfection was obvious. My family and I hired the Stockholm team after meeting with a few different custom home builders. Their simple straight-forward and honest approach is what really stood out to us compared to others. It had always been a dream of ours to build a home catered to us- and now we had found the right people to do it. After our first meeting it was clear that Stockholm Construction would be the right fit for our family. At the time of our first meeting, we were still searching for a lot to build on. They went out of their way to help us find the perfect property, after understanding what would be most suitable for our family. The construction process was well organized, on time and on budget. Most major details were ironed out early on, to avoid any obstructions and delays during construction. They explained each step that would take place in advance, meticulously explaining the details pertaining to the construction phases to keep us well informed and updated. We had a budget we were adamant on adhering to, so we were always given a couple of options to maintain budget. They were very honest in letting us know where it made sense to spend more money and add value and where it was acceptable to be a little more conservative. The service they provide is not limited to the completion of the home, they are always more than willing to come by for whichever reason it may be- from answering simple questions about the smart home system to helping us change the timing for the lawn irrigation system.
