We are locally owned and operated and service the entire Metro Atlanta area including Lake Oconee as well as our newest location in Nashville, Tennessee.
Our 4,000 square foot showroom featuring 15 different custom room and closet configurations is located at: 600 Wylie Road, Marietta, GA 30067. We welcome visitors into our plant to view our state of the art "screen-to-machine" manufacturing process. We offer 12 months same as cash financing to assist you in getting your project completed. We also have a showroom located at 55 Willow Street in Nashville, Tennessee! Please make an appointment to visit our showroom.

Our experience working with Artisan Custom Closets out of the Atlanta Area, especially with our Design Consultant Debbie Dickinson, was exciting a little anxious but very satisfying. Debbie worked endlessly (through our many change requests) to give us the design of our dreams and really was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Once the project was approved and underway, as with most home projects, there were a few "bumps in the road". However, Debbie and the Artisan Team were on top of things and scheduling to fix/complete the project was swift. We are now very happy Artisan Custom Closet customers thanks to Debbie Dickinson and the Artisan Team.

Debbie Dickinson was a very professional consultant. She more than met our needs. She saw the big picture of our spaces and made it fit. Both our closet and pantry now have more room than before. The best part is the cost. It was less than half of what we expected. The installer was very professional and cleaned up like he had never been there. I would recommend this to anyone.

Worst experience
Rude unprofessional staff.
They actually yelled at me on a conference call with my designer.
They add on additional costs per hour if you change anything more than a handful of times.
This was MY experience. Not sure if this is standard. But my experience I want others to know what I went through.
At spending 4ok there should NOT be a limit of changes and one should be allowed to ask questions and not be talked down to, or spoken over or yelled at.
They tell you up to four weeks you can change anything.
Not true In my case.
Do your homework.
Make sure you see the product in person.
Container store or a cabinet company is looking amazing right now.
The designer I was assigned to actually asked me if my husband ever says no to me! Rude, unprofessional.

Thank you for your review. To be clear, we fired you as a customer. Yes, we offer a free in-home consultation; this does not mean that unlimited changes can be made over a 6-month period. We worked more than 80 hours on your job; 70 of which were changes/change orders by you. I'm sorry that you had the experience of changing your own interior designer which caused an additional round of closet design changes because her ideas were different than your original interior designer. Our designer at Artisan could not keep up with the demanding 6 a.m. - midnight rounds of changes to your project; the demands of your project were too much for anyone to handle so we gave you a FULL REFUND of your deposit as we were simply not willing to handle the level of unreasonable demands that you presented. I understand that we are the second company to bow out of doing your work. I'm sorry that you did not have a good experience and hope that you find someone to work with in the future.
Debbie Dickinson is amazing at her job. You tell Debbie what you want your closet to hold and she will figure out. The one thing I really liked about Debbie is her honesty and ability to explain to you what will or won't work. She will not try to sell you something you can't afford. Make sure you have a budget prepared before she comes so that she knows what she has to work with. Thank you Debbie for all the great advice for a closet that is well organized!

After thorough research of countless vendors and getting quotes from both Home Depot and Closets by Design, we decided to choose Artisan Custom Closets. Their process from booking an appt, to their site visit, to installation was easy. Jay Choice, our designer was a pleasure to work with and she did an outstanding job! She listened to our needs and customized our two master bedroom closets based on our wants & needs. She was super patient and offered good advice. The installers were professional and efficient as well. I would highly recommend this company and Jay Choice specifically for any of your custom storage needs!

Artisan is simply the best! Their designer did an incredible job of understanding our needs and budgets and created the perfect solution for each of our closets. It is incredible the amount of space they were available to create such beautiful work. It is beautiful so much extra hanging space than we before. I love the shelves for shoes etc and drawers. I love everything about it. Plus my closet feels and is bigger still so roomy. I thought for sure it might feel small but no. I could just sit in there in awww.

We hired Artisan closets about two years ago to install some shelving into our master closet, pantry, hall closet, garage, and they also built a linen closet for us in an empty space in our master bathroom.
This year we wanted to add a storage cabinet to our guest bathroom. We called Artisan, and Debbie Dickinson came to our house to do the measurements and to see what we wanted. She did an excellent job. She kept us informed about the project and was able to tweak a couple of changes that we wanted.
I would highly recommend Debbie and Artisan to help you with your storage problems.

I Love My Closet. Artisan custom closet is the best custom closet company ever. They are so professional. I went to their show room in Marietta, the first time in December and the president of the company was so humble and nice to take me around and showed me how they make their own product. When I first set out on the quest of customizing my closet, I found about four different companies that offered free consultation. They all came and did their evaluation and in the process, I met with Beverly, a designer from Artisan custom closet who stood out amongst others. She is very friendly, honest, and professional. I appreciate how she worked with me by giving me the best deal I could never have dreamt of. Right from the time of the consultation up to the end of the installation, Beverly was there making sure everything was going well according to plan.
In addition, when I called to inform Beverly that one of the shelves had accidently fallen and broken. Beverly came right away to evaluate the situation and sent replacement in less than a week. I can go on and on about the wonderful things Artisan custom design and Beverly did for me as their customer. I just want to say, Thank you and I will certainly recommend Artisan custom design to any potential customers.

Great experience from start to finish. We wanted more storage in our master bedroom and had an awkward space along one wall that would accommodate a built-in wardrobe. It is 13 feet wide and 8 feet tall on a 9 ft. ceiling. I was very worried how it would look in the room but it gives the feeling of a cozy high-end hotel room. I love the lights inside and above the TV. We have 3 return vents on this wall and put screening on the bottom to allow for airflow. Heather was my associate and was wonderful to work with. She was patient with all my changes and followed up with me quickly whenever I had questions or concerns. The installers were great, knew what they were doing and did it well. They cleaned up after the installation and I can't say enough good about them. I wish all of our remodeling projects had gone as smoothly as this one! It was truly painless and a joy. We really love the finished product.

We moved into our house a couple months ago and used Artisan to customize our closet. Alley Sandy came out and met with me at our newly constructed house with no AC (in the middle of June) and was a TREMENDOUS help. She took measurements and gave her opinion and I had a quote the next day (which was very reasonable considering the quality). They did such a good job that I hired them to put in cabinets and storage in our garage a month later! Thanks again team Artisan and Alley for making me a lifetime customer!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I had the pleasure of working with Leslie and she was incredible. She came and measured all my closets and pantry, listened to exactly what I wanted, and gave me a mock up of the closet by the next day with a quote. I didn't even need to make changes because she understood exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't believe how simple the process was. Fast forward a few weeks and the 2 guys came over to install the closets. They worked around the clock, worked hard and were respectful of the house, cleaned up after themselves (everything looks immaculate), and they did a perfect job. Literally did a happy dance when I saw the finished product. This was such a great experience. Everyone I had the pleasure of working with was fast (never rushed) and efficient. I'm pleasantly surprised with this entire process. My 3 closets, pantry, and walk in master closet look phenomenal. I will 100% recommend this company to everyone.

When I was looking for someone to do our master closet, I engaged 3 different companies. I ultimately decided to go with Artisan Custom Closets, due to their the quality of their product and service (they removed old wire shelving and patched walls)at no additional expense to me. Other companies either wanted to charge me to remove or never even offered as a service. They were able to come up with a design where I got some design features (crown molding/bump up on draw stacks) giving it a higher end look. All of this for right around what I was hoping to spend. Its not often you get exactly what you want for exactly what you wanted to spend. Especially with a project like this. Theresa my sales rep was very responsive and patient with my requests to keep tweaking the design till it was just right. Installation crew was wonderful and our closet looks amazing!! I would recommend them to anyone! RELIABLE, QUALITY company!

From my initial call to the office to the end of installing two custom closets in my new home, this company was incredible. My personal designer, Alley Sandy, was so professional yet so personable. She patiently listened to all my requests, explained what would work, would not, and suggested more pleasing alternatives for my needs. The installers were polite, quick, thorough, and made sure to clean the areas upon completion. Costomer service was excellent as well. You definitely get what you pay for. Great team.

Used Artisan to help organize my disastrous garage. Every step of the way they were great and easy to work with. Designer was very helpful, office staff booking very polite, and the installer was very considerate of our property. The finish is amazing and high quality product. There are cheaper options out there....but not with the quality of this finish. Can't wait to start my next project.

Ok, if you want awesome, you must go to Artisan. I had three different companies come out to my house to design my master closet. There was one that came out and offered 40% off. The bottom line price after discounts was still higher than Artisan. AND, I got a lot more closet (bells and whistles) with artisan. The Third company had a nice design and price. However, They didn't have the "Glaze". A must see if you don't know what it is. My wife and I went to the Artisan store in Marietta, GA. We were very impressed. Our designer, Alley Sandy, was great and so nice and personable. She is so down to earth. We got exactly what she designed for us. Even after we made a few changes after the fact, and while she was on vacation, she was great about everything. "Construction Day" came after about four weeks. The installer was on time, very friendly, and an extremely hard worker. He paid a lot of attention to every little detail. He did in one day what would have taken me at least a week to complete (not saying much about my closet skills). The finished product is immaculate! It was even better than we hoped for. Initially, I was worried about spend a lot of money on a closet. If you saw it you would think I spent WAY more than I did. We are so happy with our closet. If you need a closet done, call Artisan and ask for Alley Sandy.

I am thrilled with my new master closet!
My husband and I purchased a home that was built in the 1990s from a little old lady in her 80s. Needless to say, the house needed a lot of updating. I wish my entire remodeling project had gone as smoothly as the closet design and install with Artisan. When I called I was able to get an appointment with Alley, the designer, the same week. She was able to work up a design that gave me everything I wanted and I only made one little tweak to her original plan. She is very knowledgeable about every product and finish Artisan has available. It did take longer than I was expecting to get an install date (about3 and 1/2 weeks) but my whole remodeling project took longer than it was supposed to anyway. I forget the installers name (cute with a New Zealand/Australian accent) but he was very clean cut and efficient. The price tag came out to be a couple hundred more bucks than what I was expecting it to be but in the end it was so worth the money. I can't wait to have Alley back out to tackle my pantry when we remodel the kitchen next!

Started getting quotes from various providers, and the Dawn from Artisan Custom Closets came as one of the provider and I am really impressed with the way she has taken the Measurements and explained. Immediately I decided to give her the Work. Then after couple of email exchanges with the designs we finally agreed upon a design and Paid for the Project. Then Dealt with Kenyatta who deals with schedules etc. Then on the day of installation we are more impressed with the professionalism that Artisan Team members adhere to, Wow thats really great. He did the installation very cleanly and nothing to point out. Excellent Job.
Same happened to Custom Pantry, by this time Dawn has became as our family member, she came to our home and draw the designs went with the Order Confirmation.
We absolutely love the work and quality of the product they deliver. Initially we were worried about the money that we are paying and after the installation we are really happy and the work is worth the money.

WOW! This is the closet of my dreams!! It is absolutely beautiful! We worked with Alley and she was wonderful, so helpful, knowledgeable and she felt like a friend. WOW! That is how both my husband and I feel about our new master closet. We wonder what took us so long to finally gut the old and let Artisan Custom Closets designer Alley Sandy perform her magic. We are absolutely thrilled with the results. Best closet company ever! Artisan is outstanding from the design to the installation. So impressed with this company. Their product has a much higher end look than other companies, and the final result shows it. The beautiful cabinetry we chose very closely matches what is in the master bath. The crown molding is gorgeous, the shoe shelves are wonderful, and best of all, we have much more room for our clothing, etc., than before; some of the shelves and cabinets are empty (but not for long-must so some shopping). Thank you, Alley Sandy and Artisan for giving us outstanding service!

As a Design coordinator and project manager with The Hamlin Group, LLC, we are always looking for professional, competent sub-contractors to partner with. I has was previously employed as a Designer with Artisan a few years ago, but when I saw a need for custom quality designer closets for our clients, I immediately reached out to Artisan to fill that need. Several project later, I can say without a doubt, that the entire Artosan team follows through as professionally as they ever had. I do not worry about my clients needs being met when I design a system for them and hand it over to Artisan. The communication and process is virtually seamless. And the end product is always better than expected.
I am so thankful to Artisan for treating our clients with the same respect and courtesy as we at The Hamlin Group expect of our team. And I look forward to many more projects together in the future.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Alley S on designing our master closet. We could not be more happier with the end result! Alley even came to our house and let us borrow clothing racks while we waited for our closets to be installed! We are thrilled with their product and the customer service is top notch! We plan on getting all of the closets in our house re-modeled with Artisan Custom Closets!

We relied on Artisan to redesign our shoe closet and our wardrobe closet. Alley in particular was terrific and designed two closets that gave us more space than we could imagine. She also designed an entire section for my designer handbags, and now my friends say my closet looks like a Chanel storeroom! Alley was responsive and imaginative, and the installers were polite, on-time, clean, and professional. I highly recommend this company for its services.

Alley Sandy who was our design consultant was great. We received quotes and designs from other companies and what Alley out together was perfect and much better than any other company. I really liked all of the options and choices we had. It made it feel really custom versus other companies where fitting stock designs into our measurements. The whole process was easy and I did not feel any preasure to sign a contract. She allowed us to take our time and make our final decision when we were ready.
The day of the install was really simple and quick. There office was great about communicating in advance and making sure everything was set up.
Alley made two trips out to our home and was really good about answering all of our questions before we signed the final contract. She took the time to put together a really great design that turned out really great for both me and my husband.
I like that they offered to remove all of the old closet material, we ended up doing this before our install, but it was a really nice feature to have available at no extra cost.

My husband and I worked with designer Alley S. She is a true professional! She took our small master closet and made the space more organized and functional. I loved her kindness, attention to detail and her energy.
The young gentleman who came to install the product was a master at his craft. He even vacuumed the area he used, to ensure he left the space neat and tidy. (You often do not see that...)
We had the closet walls painted before the installation to match the master bathroom. The new paint gives the antique white closets a finished backdrop. I would highly recommend this to complete the look. We are both very satisfied with our experience with Artisan. Their prices are very competitive.

We just had our master closets (both his and hers) completed by Artisan Custom Closets and we could not be more pleased! I had been wanting custom closets since I moved into the house (10 years ago!) and we finally decided this year to make it happen. I knew that it would be an expensive project and going into it I wanted to make sure that I picked the "right" company so that I would have no regrets after spending the $$$. We had three (or four) different companies come out to provide us with a design and quote. The last person to come out was Alley Sandy from Artisan, and she was great! Unlike the other companies, she didn't just email me back a design to review and approve. She scheduled time to come back out to meet with us again, present the design to us and then walk through it and discuss / make tweaks. Then she followed up with us on the day of install to make sure that everything was how we expected it to be!
In addition to the great support from Alley, the install team was great. They showed up exactly when expected, they were polite and respectful, they completed everything exactly as expected and cleaned everything up before they left. The install took around 6ish hours, but that was to be expected.
The materials are top quality, everything looks absolutely perfect and so far so good!

Alley Sandy was the sales and designer for my closet. She did a wonderful job addressing my needs and vision for my closet. It came out beautifully. They did accidentally install a scarf rack in the wrong spot but I contacted her and she was quick to acknowledge that it was their mistake and they would send out a service person to fix it as soon as I'm available. The crew was clean and vacuumed after the project was done - leaving me with a beautiful new close with no mess in sight. I highly recommend this company, and their team especially Alley was very good at communication, and answered all my questions.

The service and execution of the project my husband and I purchased deserves all 5 stars and more. We had never purchased anything like this before, and our designer Alley Sandy came prepared with suggestions/digital pictures for the perfect organization solutions for our home. We had built ins done by the fireplace, our master closet done as well as our pantry. We weighed the pros and cons of doing the project ourselves because the cost was high, but Alley worked with us on the price and even though it was still higher than we originally wanted, we are so happy with the high quality clean workmanship of the finished project. It looks completely professionally done, with no detail looked over. All the work looks like it came with the house, and Alley was very patient with us as we made changes to designs, to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. HIGHLY recommend this company!!

I couldn’t be any happier with my new closet, designed and installed by Artisan Customs Closet. From the first call to the installation, everything went smoothly. I don’t regret paying extra for quality.
The consultant who came to my house, Lesley Baldwin, was excellent. I had drawn what I had in mind for my closet (which is a small closet with basic shelves). She tweaked a few things, suggested some add-ons and made a few recommendations that I happily followed. I was set on dark wood and she strongly recommended that I go with white. She was so right! The installer, Oscar, was polite, professional, efficient, and did an excellent job.
Everything went absolutely perfect! I strongly recommend anyone who wants some incredible looking closets to go with Artisan Custom Closets.

Outstanding service. Teresa is the best! I checked all over the state for the best price, value and workmanship. Artisan Custom Closets is the best price and workmanship you will find in the state. Teresa even helped us come in under budget with everything I wanted. The other companies did not come close to what Artisan Custom Closets offered. Try to get Teresa as your designer. She is the best and has been doing this for about 20 plus years. You can't go wrong with Artisan Custom Closets.

I could not be happier with my recently installed laundry room and pantry. Everything from the design process to the completion exceeded my expectations! Lesley did a fantastic job analyzing my needs and listening to what I wanted to create the perfect solution.

My garage was a disaster. Everyone just threw stuff in there they didn't know what else to do with it. I called Artisan Custom Closets and Lisa Carlquist came to my house. She was not judgmental of the mess and assured me I could have my dream garage and that everything would have a home. Well, needless to say. It is beyond perfect. Now it is the nicest room in my house :)
Every single thing that needs to be in the garage has a neat home out of site. My family is much more organized now because of Artisan Custom Closets. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I had my custom bedroom walk-in closet designed by Artisan! It looks fantastic and they did an outstanding job! The install was done quickly and professionally and I have also recently received a quote to redo my laundry room cabinets! Their prices are very competitive!

Artisan Custom Closets provided my wife and I more options, great designs, better materials, and several configuration ideas to choose from for our master bedroom closet. The option we chose has the custom builtin look, at an affordable price. It also functions perfectly for our busy lifestyle.
We would and do recommend Artisan Custom Closets to anyone who needs this type of product and service.
As a note, we had three other companies offer design ideas and quotes for this same installation and hands down Artisan Custom Closets proved the best choice. The installation has now been installed for a couple of years with NO issues! Still looks great and works. It is great quality for the cost.

I had both master bedroom closets designed and installed by Artisan Custom Closets. I worked for several weeks with their designer Teresa Safranek to come up with a design that would suit both my husband's needs in his closet and my own needs in my closet. The installer was very professional and did a great job (arrived on time and was neat and tidy). My husband and I are very pleased with our closets. I would definitely recommend Artisan Custom Closets.

I'm writing this from my home office where I had the cabinets and countertops installed. I love the quality and craftsmanship. It was put up in Fall 2010 and it's still hanging nicely (no sagging doors, no loose parts). It makes my home office so much more enjoyable to be able to hide stuff away in their proper places. Lisa Carlquist, our consultant, offered valuable experienced opinions on our request for an handing LCD screen area, and drawers vs door placement. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. AND they had it up in one day with another day of tweaking. Professional, courteous and clean.

Madeleine was a pro w/ measurements, height adjustments (since both my husband and I are over 5'10") and accessories. I truly have a unit in our Master Closet that gives the extra storage I needed in an efficient set-up!

Madeleine Polan was my designer and did a marvelous job in helping me achieve a perfect closet for my needs! I had some idea of what I wanted. Madeleine took my ideas and offered some unique thoughts to maximize the space. I am very pleased with the product as well. The bronze metal on the ivory glaze is a perfect look for me. Installation was in record time and a very neat and tidy process. I would highly recommend both Madeleine and Artisan Closets. I will be using them again!

We were expanding our master bedroom and bath. With the remodel, I was able to build out so I could receive my own CLOSET! I asked friends who they reccomended so I could receive a couple of quotes.
My designer, Kathy came to my home, immediately was able to access my situation, and came back with a design that used every inch of usable space. ( angled, uneven roof lines). She had the best design, and they had a very competitive price... My closet is beautiful. The project went exactly as planned. She came to the house to measure again, after the buildout to make sure everything was right. The install went off with out a hitch. On time and within budget.... I would absolutely have them come back to do other areas of my house... I am thinking about the Utility closets!!
