We had purchased our house a little over a year ago and when we went to get quotes on how to spruce up the backyard we found out we had some issues with our retaining wall. After what seemed like multiple proposals from different companies I felt overwhelmed. My neighbor suggested I call Gary because she had used him multiple times over the last 20 years and only had amazing things to say. I immediately went home and submitted an inquiry on his website. Gary responded back within 24 hours and came to our house that week to walk the property. He put us at ease right away by telling us the "major issue" could easily be fixed and then outlined other designs that could truly enhance things. Any questions we had he answered. Once the work started his guys were on it. The week was blistering hot and these men worked so hard! They were also incredibly nice and anytime I had questions they would walk me through it. The end product surpassed our expectations. I highly recommend Gary Duff Designs.

Gary's insight into how to make the most of your property amazes me. He made a few immediate observations about what we/guests see or don't see upon approaching our home, and guided us through a process on how to dramatically improve it. With no direct access to our street from our front door, Gary redesigned our front lawn, carving a serpentine path of unique pavers, and added stone steps to our newly covered front porch and walkway to the curb. He ripped out all of the 40 year old overgrown shrubs from the front lawn and driveway, and replaced them with young and healthy plantings sprinked with lots of colorful trees and flowers. Further, with any visitors formerly only seeing our home from the bottom end of our driveway and the original only point of access, Gary ripped out the deteriorated drive and replaced it with a continuation of the serpentine flow of pavers that now frame the drive and connect to both the new front walkway and a path to our back lawn and pool. We could not recommend anyone or any company more highly!
