When we were building our home, Kate designed our bathroom including the shower with tiles simulating waterfalls. She is very creative and responsive. A few years ago I contacted her for a special project and she helped me choose a rug that made the room. She knows how to bring all elements together.

Lisa Mangum

Kate is a wonderful balance of professionalism and warmth. She was recommended by our contractor to help us with design for a bathroom remodel. Our contractor loves the fact that her renderings' measurements are so accurate that he can order cabinetry from them. I love the fact that, while her taste level and eye are highly developed (can I use "fabulous" here?), it is important that her client's spaces look like "them". She designs with you, not at you, and is an absolute pleasure to spend time with.

We were fortunate enough to have Kate design our remodel. She was amazing from beginning all the way thru the end of the project. She came to us with multiple design options for us to choose from and was always welcome to revisions or combining of one or more of the plans. Kate asked us questions about how we live, if we entertain and what our goals were for the remodel. This allowed her to understand who we are as her clients. WOW! The results are amazing. We are in love with our new spaces. She was always available for questions thru email, text or phone call and was willing to come to the house to discuss whatever we needed. Her eye for color cannot be matched. I told her what color tones and feel I was looking for and she came to the house prepared with many different color options and the results are AMAZING. Our house feels warm and light and bright. The design of our kitchen is both functional and beautiful. She thought of everything from where we will put the microwave to a creative way to have extra storage. I could not be happier! I highly recommend Kate Byer Design for any design, building, or remodeling project.

Kate helped me with every aspect of designing my new home. It was a much bigger job than I imagined it would be, and Kate thought of things I never would have (until it was too late). She had great ideas, helped find efficiencies and was able to communicate well with the contractors. She listened to what I wanted, and was able to provide options to help me achieve everything I wanted. Huge time saver for me, and the end result is a home that I truly love. Highly recommend!

In the twenty years that I have been involved in the construction of over 650 semi-custom or custom homes and probably 200 remodels, I have had the pleasure to work with many qualified people to bring happiness to the clients. Kate Byers is one of those people.. I would and have referred her to clients that have had nothing but the greatest experience working with her firm.. From a general contractors side she makes my life a lot easier because of detailed and correctly dimension-ed drawings, low stress solution based decisions when problems arise, which we all know will happen with construction,and her ability to maintain a schedule with her designs so the projects can keep moving.. I would hire her firm to help me with any of my clients--from custom homes/remodels to commercial tenant improvement jobs.. Brent Hillman

When I met Kate I had a lawn chair in my living room, a box for my TV stand and my Triathlon bike where the kitchen table should be. She has completely transformed my home (it's now a home and not a bachelor crash pad) into a wonderful place that I look forward to going after work and inviting friends to visit. I highly recommend Kate, she is very talented and easy to work with.

I hired Kate to help with my "post-divorce" apartment. She was intuitive in her ability to read both my actual need and incorporate my desires. She satisfied my need for creativity and class while keeping within my budget, and best of all, 4 years later I am still using the "bones" of her design, although I have moved into a house. I plan to hire her for my upcoming new construction project and in general highly recommend her work.

Commented: where can we buy these mirrors?They were custom designed at a frame store in Los Angeles. We gave them a drawing with specification, then picked out the frame style we liked and they fabricated them with mirror.
