My husband and I recently did a fairly major renovation of our condo - completely redoing the kitchen and opening it up to the old dining area. I had a pretty good idea of how I wanted things to look - but was not confident that my choices would be exactly on target. Karla took the time to understand my goals and the overall look and feel that I wanted and really made sure that the final look all tied together ( including incorporating a lot of our existing furniture and art ). Her suggestions for backsplash and floor were absolutely what I was looking for and the hardware for the cabinets ( though I was nervous ) turned out to be one of my favourite touches. She gently steered me away from some of my ideas, and suggested options that I may not have considered. I am so happy I trusted her advice. We feel the final result is a perfect balance of current and fresh - but still classic, and will stand the test of time. That is exactly what we were looking for. She was out to see the space a couple of times and after that I was able to bounce ideas and question back and forth via email - which was really great.

Karla was extremely helpful in helping me rework and redesign my living room. I was challenged with a dated and unusual space. Karla provided spatial concepts, furniture ideas, color schemes and ideas on how to pull it all together. She was very professional and followed up after our appointment with contact information for the resources we discussed. She is always available for questions and direction when I have questions. I feel very confident in the plan and could not have done it without Karla's assistance. I will recommend Karla to anyone I meet that is looking for Interior Design services.

I hired Karla to provide some design ideas for a client space in my home. Not only did she create a beautiful design, she has also helped me understand the design process more. I feel more confident going out and keeping design elements in mind when I'm shopping on my own. She is super responsive and always there to help whenever I reach out. I also love her short videos - I learn so much from them! I've already recommended Karla to my friends and would definitely recommend her to anyone!

It's been a pleasure working with Karla. We have an oddly shaped living room and she's been able to come up with a plan that works wonderfully and looks amazing. She has a great eye for texture and colour and has been able to suggest things that I never would have thought of on my own. We were downsizing into a downtown condo and needed helping us work with some of our existing furniture with new pieces. Karla was enthusiastic and was able to quickly assess what needed to be done. She helped us pick a paint color that transformed the place-the painter even commented on it! I liked the fact that after Karla discusses your needs, she provides you with the item list to shop when you are able to get the different pieces. She provides you with ongoing support and at any time we were unable to get a piece she was able to provide alternate solutions. I was not sure whether I would need a design service, but Karla was able to provide us with a space that has texture and some interesting pieces including a light fixture, that we would have never chosen on our own. Karla has a great eye and was able to provide us with the assistance to create a space that we love and that we have received many compliments for.
