Midwest Stone Source & Design Studio

We went to the studio based on the TV commercial. We had friends that have been previous customers with happy results. The customer service is second to NO one. We would recommend them. If we would ever need something they offer we will definitely do business here again.

My wife and I had gotten quotes from other contractors to renovate our kitchen when a neighbor suggested we try Midwest Stone. We mistakenly thought they only sold countertops. When we went there we were greeted by Dan who asked us about our project. After we explained to him what we were doing he asked if he could give us a quote. He came to our house and in the process he made a recommendation, which we immediately liked, that none of the other contractors had even suggested. We ended up having them remodel our kitchen and our master bath. The project from start to finish took approximately seven weeks. Along the way we had some minor corrections that we had not thought of and the team made those changes with no problems. We had one change that warranted a change order which was added to the cost of the project. All of the workers and subcontractors were very friendly, professional and helpful. It has been about 10 months since the project was completed and we are still enjoying the "newness" of our kitchen and master bath. We highly recommend this company.

My husband and I went in there to get an estimate on a vanity top in granite but when we told the "designer" how much we wanted to spend she told us that unless we spent a minimum of $700 she could not help us! We have never been to a business that tells us we had a minimum to spend maybe that's why there was no one in there, but I know we'll never go back. Our money will be better spent else where. That is very poor business

I'm thrilled I went to Midwest Stone Source for my granite countertops. They worked with me to stay within my budget. I loved the choices they had to pick from and really appreciated their help in picking out everything I needed. The installers were wonderful! They cleaned everything up before they left and made sure I was satisfied. Rachael was wonderful in helping me find the perfect backsplash I would highly recommend them!

The people at Midwest Stone Source were the most professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and skilled as we have ever encountered. They made sure everything was exactly as we wanted throughout the process from the design to completion. The trades worked together seamlessly and they completed the project exactly according to the timeline set forth at the beginning of demolition. We have a beautiful new kitchen which is not only a dream to work in but has also improved the function and flow of the rooms that were impacted by the remodel.

I would say, Midwest Stone Source is the ONLY place to go if you live in Rockford, IL area, for countertops, kitchen backsplashes or custom cabinetry. There is an amazing group of people there to work with! Jeff, the cabinet designer, has worked in the business for about 25+ years and understands cabinetry detail like no one else in the area. Owners Jodi & Denise are hands on & wonderful to work with. The showroom, well that has SO many amazing choices for tile - and make sure you check out the gorgeous granite slabs in the back! Just between the product selection available and the professionalism of the staff - there is no way I'd go anywhere else in the Rockford area for countertops, kitchen backsplashes or custom cabinetry.
