MP Construction was founded in 1999 by Graham Reid, a top level journeyman carpenter with an International Provincial Trade Qualification Certificate, and is staffed exclusively by professional tradespeople and sub-contractors each of whom brings to his craft over twenty years of hands-on experience in all areas of the construction industry. We believe that the creation of beautiful comfortable spaces is accessible to everyone, and we delight in creating homes tailored to each client’s preferred design aesthetic and available budget. While our projects span all styles of architecture, recent work with several prominent architects has afforded us the opportunity to focus on a number of exciting contemporary homes and renovations. MP Construction offers a comprehensive service which includes home design, interior design, and engineering, and under Graham’s supervision guarantees uncompromising attention to detail. We construct and renovate homes in every architectural style and work regularly with several leading architects whose focus is modern spaces. Recent and current projects include a number of new homes and several home and condominium renovations. We have completed 3 renovation projects with MP Construction. Graham has a great team of trades working for him, all very professional and detail oriented. Graham came up with solutions to challenging spaces, updating while keeping the character of our house. He listened to our requests and understood what was important to us while providing extensive knowledge of the industry requirements. He was very involved from the beginning to end to make sure things were completed on time and on budget. Budget overages were due to adding new components of the renovation during the process which we agreed upon. We continue to receive many compliments about his work. We will use MP Construction again for our final renovation.

Then in 2011 we again hired Graham to renovate our home's exterior. Graham was organized and he communicated well with us each step of the way throughout our renovations. MP Construction did a beautiful job of my bathroom. I'm no designer , I just stated what I was looking for, they designed it perfectly, it's beautiful and functional, more than met my expectations. Work was done with little disruption to rest of house it was spotless and they were respectfully quiet. All the trades were friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend them.

Graham, Chris, and their team are easy to work with. They have a keen eye for detail and are willing to give you their input when it comes to making the tough decisions. Graham and MP Construction are fantastic. Graham is excellent to work with, no nonsense, but always willing to discuss and debate decisions and design/product choices. He has worked for us on two projects: our kitchen/laundry room/verandah, 8 years ago, which we still love, and our two washrooms, 2 years ago, which we more than love! His estimates are realistic and on target and he plans for contingencies. We totally appreciate Graham's professional, but relaxed manner and recommend him to anyone who wants a reliable and excellent contractor.

Graham has returned to complete 3 additional renovations - 2 bathrooms and the kitchen - in the 5 years following a major renovation of all floors, lighting and closing off a room with an amazing glass "barn" door. His suggestions are modern and generally high end. His budget is within 10% of the estimate although the original reno budget of $100,000. estimated was spot on.
