Fabulous end-to-end service! I'm so glad I stopped into Exotic Homes and discovered that their level of service isn't just for second home owners, huge houses or those without a budget. In addition to all of that, they also provide excellent professional guidance to those looking to put those touches into your home that ties everything together. Working with Jordan and Dewey has been a pleasure. They took the time (and interest) to get to know my family. They asked thoughtful questions about our interests, tastes, lifestyle, and the energy & feel we wanted in our home. Their selections, guidance and suggestions have resulted in a living, dining and kitchen area that looks beyond wonderful and still feels like us. We had so much fun during the process! The friendly service, professionalism, and attention to detail end-to-end is amazing! I can't wait to work with Dewey, Jordan and the rest of the Exotic Home team on the rest of the house!

After visiting several establishments on the Outer Banks, we stopped by Exotic Home one afternoon and found exactly what we had imagined for our new home. We clicked immediately with our designer, Jordan Gutshall, who provided us with custom room layouts, furniture and fabric selections, accessories, etc. The owner Mike even custom finished a sideboard for us. We could not be happier with our experience and will continue to deal with these accomplished professionals in the future.

The moment my husband and I walked into the showroom in the Outer Banks we knew this was the kind of furniture we were looking for. Allison Howell immediately led us to unique and beautiful pieces and patiently worked with us in a two month time span lending us her exceptional eye for detail. I appreciated her input, suggestions and help so much during this process! She went above and beyond many times as she truly helped to incorporate our own ideas combined with hers. She was always available and willing to personally attend to even the smallest details! The end result is better than I could have imagined. Unique and beautiful pieces that truly gave us the feeling of luxury but home as well. I would work with Exotic Home again as there truly is nothing I could find that could rival it. We will enjoy every moment in our home away from home in the Outer Banks thanks to Allison and Exotic Home!

I had the pleasure of working with Allison and the rest of the staff at Exotic Home on the Outer Banks to furnish and decorate my entire home. While there are several other "full service" furniture store on the Outer Banks, I chose Exotic Home for three reasons: they source gorgeous , one-of-a-kind, reasonably priced antiques from around the world, they have their own really nice furniture line that is perfect for coastal decorating, and the staff, specifically Allison, were talented, organized and fun to work with! If you want a house that combines the unique and warm accents of super cool antiques with the comfort of all of the most popular furniture lines, choose Exotic Home. Our home is beautiful, comfortable and unique! They use an organizational tool called Basecamp that kept all of our conversations and decisions documented. It was critical to maintaining a smooth process. Also, ask about their "whole house" decorating packages. You won't be disappointed if you choose Exotic Home!

Had a great experience with Exotic Homes. Jordan worked with us almost daily while decorating a new home in Kitty Hawk. Using BaseCamp made the experience so much easier while not being there full time to make decisions. I was not looking forward to this process, but with the help of Jordan communicating with me so often and using the website, the experience was a pleasure and the house looks great! Thank you!

Exotic Home furnished most of our new beach home, including furniture and accessories for all rooms. With the help of Allison and Tanya, we were able to achieve the look that we wanted. Using Basecamp for project management made the process very easy, since we made only occasional on-site visits. They were very accommodating and offered a variety of options.

We worked with Allison on furnishing our new town home in Corolla. Base Camp was a great tool that allowed us to communicate easily every step of the way. We felt Allison understood our vision and preferences and worked to make our dreams come true! We love everything we got from Exotic Home....top notch quality and great to work with! Excellent design service. I purchased a new home and Tiffany from Exotic Home was there to help me with all my design choices. I still have a few rooms to go and I will utilize Exotic Home for them. They even delivered my furniture during the start of a hurricane...and everything stayed dry!

What a great experience we had with Exotic Home! My husband and I recently built a beach house at the Outer Banks with construction completed in July, 2015, and we chose Exotic Home to do all of our furnishings with a few exceptions. We had briefly considered decorating the house ourselves, but are so thankful we decided to use the services of Exotic Home. From our very first meeting, where they got to know us and our likes and dislikes, the staff was very friendly, very professional, and very knowledgeable. One of the reasons we chose Exotic Home was because they offered assistance throughout the whole construction process which we needed and appreciated very much. We are extremely pleased with the job they did coordinating our furniture selections, fabrics, bedding, paint colors, flooring, countertops, accents, and window treatments, as well as our outdoor and pool furniture. Throughout the whole process, they were easily accessible to answer any questions and were in constant contact with us to keep us informed of the progress of our orders and to keep us on time. The final step of installation was another plus. All the furniture was set up and cleaned in just 2 days. So far we are very pleased with the quality of the furnishings. If there has been a problem with an item, they have fixed it or replaced it promptly. This year we are beginning our second rental season, and we have received many compliments on our house as well as inquiries about who did the decorating. We used Exotic Home to completely furnish our remodeled 5 bedroom vacation home. We needed everything--sofas, chairs, dining sets, bedroom furniture, area rugs, artwork, decor, lighting, and bedding. Their design service was awesome! The designer was friendly, well informed and listened to our ideas and incorporated them into the final outcome. She measured all the rooms to make sure furniture would fit accordingly, selected great materials that would complement the color scheme we wanted as well as selected accent pieces and artwork. Furniture, decor, and artwork was delivered and installed easily. They have many options for furnishings and decor in their showroom. Fun and funky to classic and tailored. Also, it was so nice knowing that someone was taking care of all the measuring, ordering of custom furniture and the installation once items arrived. My husband and I were able to focus more of our attention on the renovation/construction issues. Pricing is reasonable. We have received very high feedback from our renters. Several have even asked me for information regarding the furniture and fabrics. Guests love the furnishings and so do we!
