Dana George has an exceptional sense of space and palette. Some designers have a lot of training and accreditation, which she does; some designers have a lot of experience, which she does, but very few designers have such a natural gift, and that is what sets Dana above. Over the last 40 years I have worked with many designers and Dana is, simply put, extraordinary. A lot of designers become known for a specific look or aesthetic but Dana has the ability to create a masterpiece using whatever criteria the clients give her. She doesn't impose her taste; she listens, she hears and she works "with" you to create something that is beautiful, warm and incredibly personal. It has been a distinct privilege to collaborate on many different and interesting projects with Dana and she has always surpassed expectations and impressed with how versatile she is. Great work Hearth & Home! The design and execution of our home renovation was outstanding. Dana is incredibly talented. Not only does she have an incredible eye for design, she also knows how to gently show people alternative design Style that maybe they had not considered before. In the end she took us from drab to grand. She is truly a remarkable designer and person.

I very much enjoyed working with Dana! She took care of everything helping me revamp my condo from a tile/wallpaper refresh in the kitchen/powder room to space planning the great room/dining room, selecting furniture/rugs and placing art/accessories. I very much appreciated how she took the time to find unique pieces that she knew I would love and would look great in the space! I now look forward to coming home and hosting people to show off the transformation! I would highly recommend working with Dana and would definitely love to work with her again.

This past year I renovated my bungalow to include the addition of a second storey. Dana helped me tweak the overall architectural design of my renovation to ensure my functional and aesthetic needs were met and we worked together to spec all materials for the construction phase. Upon completion of construction Dana has been incredibly helpful in space planning, selecting furniture and placing art/accessories to make my "new home" as cozy as I imagined. I wouldn't hesitate to refer Cielo Interiors, and will use them for any future projects I may have.

This was our first time working with a designer and Dana was amazing! In a relatively short period of time, she helped transform the look and feel of our living room. We had a combination of light construction work (replacing a gas fireplace and surrounding stonework - which we would not have considered doing and it changed the room entirely!) and cosmetic upgrades (drapes, art, accessories, pillows, throws, etc.) The depth and character of our 'new' room is unbelievable and still stops me in my tracks when I walk by. Dana collaborated with us very well, blending our personality and preferences with her creative design ideas. Her budget estimates were bang on, and the finished product exceeded our expectations. We wanted to "re-fresh" two bathrooms as well as add some character to our large family room wall. Dana made it so easy to collaborate in a relatively short period of time to make big, beautiful differences in our living space. She is terrific to work with, offering up exciting ideas and concepts in a very short amount of time. We were seamlessly able to integrate new sinks and counter tops into our en-suite and second bath, and the entertainment wall enhancements filled the room with depth and character. Thank you Dana!

We enjoyed our collaboration with Dana. She listened to our ideas and gently steered us towards considering new ideas for the renovation of our newly acquired home. She helped us source products [countertops, flooring, sinks, tiles & stone] and to find furniture that would fit in with the items we were keeping. After we moved in, Dana was excellent in helping us to arrange beloved objects and paintings/pictures in ways that we would not have considered.

Dana provided me with new insight into how to refresh my home with the right furniture and accessories. Her advice was invaluable in showing how a few well chosen new pieces can integrate with existing things to make it all feel fresh and new. Dana also helped me to transform my beautiful dining room built-in using my vintage collection of hardcopy books - something I would not have thought of in this space, and adds to the daily enjoyment of my home. Her positive energy and friendly style make her a joy to work with.

Dana is a remarkable interior designer with a strong sense for style and quality, We contracted with Dana/Cielo Interiors for our 2nd storey home renovation which included upgrades to our 3 bedrooms and Master ensuite from the floors to the ceiling. With Dana's guidance, we were introduced to some great possibilities and choices in both room design and product selections. From the very beginning, Dana was sensitive to understanding our needs in making the living space "our own". Dana has excellent relationships with suppliers in Calgary which proved to be invaluable towards streamlining the many decisions that needed to be made; some of which included on our ensuite shower, cabinetry, flooring, lighting, paint colours, window treatments and accessories to name a few! Dana's creativity, her attention to detail and the love she has for her craft, made the transformation a fun and enjoyable experience for us. Our expectations were more that met and we LOVE our new space!

Dana has been amazing to work with. She has a great way of blending her design knowledge and skills with your own personal tastes. She isn’t pushy at all and makes the whole process less stressful and more enjoyable. Dana is very knowledgeable and has great contacts that we were able to utilize when picking out some new furniture. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a great interior designer who is a pleasure to work with.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Dana. She helped us choose paint colors, furniture, artwork and arranging the artwork. If there was something that we didn't quite think the same about, she was very open to our ideas as well and flexible. I would certainly recommend her - a very pleasant lady!
