We hired Tony and his team to design and install gardens, walkways, stone steps, hand railings and more. We are very pleased with the results. His team is pleasant and responsive. They were able to re-use our existing flagstone, and built walkways which are not only beautiful, but work very well for our friends and family.

Anthony Dufour Gardens designed & installed entry gardens for our Malvern home this past fall. We have already been enjoying fall color & winter berries. Tony was easy to work with, and we look forward to having his crew return in the spring to continue in the back.

We hired Tony Dufour this past spring to help us "rein In " our gardens. He did an excellent job listening to what we had in mind and making those wishes into a reality. Tony was very easy to work with, and the man who did most of the labor intensive weeding was, without a doubt, the most thorough and careful person. Plant material that we were no longer able to use in our new garden plan, were dug up, balled and delivered to my daughter for her garden. I expect to have Tony work with us this spring to continue this project.

My wife and I hired Tony to repair our bluestone entry steps and front porch which had deteriorated over time. He was prompt, courteous, and exhibited quality craftsmanship in the seamless repair. Over the years Tony has also performed landscaping and installed a front walkway for us. We've always been pleased with his design sense, cheerful attitude, and professionalism.

Tony has designed and installed gardens for us for three different homes (over the past ten years). Each garden has been completely different, and has responded to the challenges of each home; he's extremely knowledgeable in both plants and construction. He's detail oriented, honest and easy to work with.

Tony has been working with me over the past ten years to restore order to my yard, and define garden spaces. He's selectively cleared woodlands, and established privacy plantings throughout my property. The plantings are varied, seasonally rich, and low maintenance. He's also installed brick walkways and stone walls which complement my home. His company continues to care for my gardens, and keeps a close eye on my trees. He is responsive and professional. He incorporates my thoughts into his plans and transforms them into a beautiful landscape.

Tony has built a strong connection between our mid-Century modern home, and its wooded surroundings. He has designed and installed a garden which addresses both our passion for modern design and materials choices which complement both the interior and exterior of our home. The garden affords us easy access up and down steep slopes. As our yard has no lawn, shade tolerant plantings are doing quite well. We are enjoying the craftsmanship on masonry retaining walls built with locally sourced stone. Tony provides ongoing garden care, and continues to advise us on tree preservation issues. Over the past ten years, Tony has made some dramatic improvements to our home landscape. He replaced a bland concrete front porch with a stone masonry porch which blends seamlessly with our existing stone facade. The accompanying plantings, drystone retaining wall and brick walk have integrated our contemporary style home with the surrounding landscape. He is currently working on an outdoor living space near our swimming pool which features a stone masonry firepit, stone retaining wall, plantings, and new route for our perimeter fencing. Tony is detail-oriented, and very good at addressing the pros and cons of various materials and options. His recommendations are based not only on aesthetics, but on longevity. Stone masonry is clearly one of his areas of expertise. He is responsive to our questions, on the job during installation, and fastidious about clean-up. We highly recommend him.

Tony has been working with us since 1995, and has designed and installed our entire landscape. We still use, and greatly enjoy, the bluestone patio he installed in our backyard. Plantings throughout our yard are in bloom, or covered with berries throughout the year. They are enhanced by the stone walls he installed to better show off the plantings. Our front entry garden- planted heavily with perennials- is a joy to view from both inside our home, and each time we pull in the driveway. Tony has used lower maintenance plantings, as well as more local varieties, to respond to our busy lifestyle and environmental concerns. He is easy to work with, responsive to ideas and concerns and we highly recommend him.

We've worked with Tony Dufour since 1997 on landscapes for two different homes. He designed and installed full landscapes for both properties including ornamental and privacy plantings, walkways and driveway improvements. He also designed a custom swimming pool which fits well on a steep slope and within a small backyard, with necessary accompanying retaining walls. He surronded this living space with gardens which are in bloom throughout the swim season. Tony's company provides timely ongoing seasonal maintenance and tree care for us. Tony is extremely knowledgeable in both horticulture and construction; he is both responsive and professional, and has kept pace with the changing needs of our family. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any design/build/maintain need for any outdoor space.
