About Us

Since 1982, Anderson's has been a leader in South Mississippi's home decorating industry. Originally established by Allen Anderson as Hattiesburg Paint and Decorating, the company has evolved from a hometown paint and flooring retailer with five employees to a regional industry leader with three retail stores and two commercial divisions, employing approximately 50 individuals. The company is now comprised of Anderson Carpet One Floor & Home, Anderson Rug Market & Furniture Gallery, Anderson Commercial Flooring and Anderson Commercial Furniture. In 2008, the company celebrated its 25th year in business by expanding once again to meet the ever-changing demands of the population. The Design Center, located on Office Park Drive behind Petro Automotive Group, offers a full-spectrum of design services and home interior products, available to fit any taste and budget For more than 25 years, our design and reputation for quality service have enhanced the beauty of South Mississippi's homes and more. Hillarie Long provided much needed advice on my recent kitchen/master bedroom upgrade and did it in a most courteous, efficient manner. The choices she helped me make were absolutely the right ones and resulted in a stunning outcome. My house is perfectly beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. Hillary long helped us design our bathroom I selected some hand-painted Mexican tiles for accent Anderson's has a huge array to choose from Hillary listened and noted my design style within 15 minutes she chose a very durable wonderful bathroom floor to go with the brown tiles in the shower and then gave me a sparkly silvery brown to tie in the shower wall and floor she truly is a gem so fortunate to find her
