We hired Jackie Vella for a remodel of our kitchen and decided we wanted it done in time for Christmas! She was absolutely wonderful - she had amazing ideas, great connections in the industry and worked tirelessly to get it all done by our tight deadline. Jackie always had her eye on what would fit our individual style and our budget. She would offer her industry connections, but never pushed them on us - always left the final decision to us. We loved working with her and we are totally in love with the end result of her work - our kitchen is beautiful. We would (and do!) recommend her to anyone looking to work with a designer.

Jackie worked tirelessly from selecting bricks for the foundation walls to selecting knobs an pulls designing my dream home with me. She designs fireplaces, book cases, pillars and then selects fabrics and designs window treatments. She has a wealth of knowledge and endless passion and energy for completing the project no matter how big or small. I loved working with her.

I hired Jackie, because after just relocating my family across country, starting a new job, and not having much time, I needed someone to work fast to update the house we were moving into. We had a slim budget and not a lot of time. She arranged and collected estimates, and helped me work through them and set priorities. Jackie was great at listening to what I was saying and translating into the design. She never forced her vision or style on me, but still give me good ideas to work with my vision. She managed the various people, so I had one point of contract, and she kept everyone on the tight schedule. Most of all, I liked that she was always good at being direct about what to spend/splurge on and what could wait. She was just what I needed. The best money I spent. Plus, she is really nice!

Jackie is an amazingly talented designer who really listens & gets inspiration from the client. She's very professional, hard-working & willingly to do whatever is necessary to make the project complete. She has an excellent reputation & work relationship with everyone in the industry. We love our new house & couldn't have done it without her. She picked out everything from wall colors & flooring to furniture & decor.

Jackie is very attuned to individual style and needs. She is extremely reasonable in her pricing and always finds bargains that look like beautiful pieces for your home that, again, coincide with what you like. She always shives multiple options a and does not get frustrated if you do not like any of the options but moves forward trying again because her aim is your happiness. She is extremely pleasant to work with. She has great ancillary help for everything, whether it is picture hanging or light fixture adjusting. We never had to supply anything. She always came prepared. She can think as in or out of the box as you like. Totally awesome!

When we purchased our new home we hired Jackie for her design expertise. She took the time to get to know us, learning our likes and dislikes. She combined what she learned about us with her experience and knowledge to come up with great options for us to consider. Using her many contacts and resources she found us furniture, artwork, and window treatments for our living room, bedroom, kitchen and office. We were amazed at how she was able to pick out so many items that went together perfectly. We were so pleased with her work that when we finished our basement we called her again. Jackie picked out our bar cabinets, appliances, tile flooring, carpeting, paint for the walls and furniture.
