Pavel Ivanov, AIA,Inc. is headed by Pavel Ivanov, a licensed Architect in California and Bulgaria, with a Masters degree in Architecture and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Bulgarian Association of Architects. Pavel is an Architect with worldwide experience. His career as an Architect took him from Bulgaria, to Kuwait, United Kingdom, and USA. Starting his career in Bulgaria, he was awarded top prizes in several International competitions, which landed him a position as a Senior Architect in one of the largest Kuwaiti companies (SSH). Among numerous projects for public and private buildings, as a Senior Architect in SSH, he designed the "Guest Palace" in the Bayan Complex - the Kuwaiti government residence for visiting Heads of State. Pavel Ivanov started his own practice in USA in 1993. The majority of his work includes exclusive multimillion dollar residences in California, mainly in the Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Bel-Air area, some of which are featured here. Current International Projects include large developments in Kazakhstan and Bulgaria. In Kazakhstan, the Zhailjau Golf Course Complex includes the design of a Club House, a Condominium Complex, and a large Upscale Housing Development. Current Projects in Bulgaria include a mixed Residential / Commercial Project in Sofia, and Resort Projects on the Black Sea. Being recognized for his excellence and attention to every detail, Pavel usually carries out the design of the buildings in their totality, to include the outside environment, the building itself and its interiors as well.

I give Mr. Ivanov 5 out of 5 stars for the architectural work he performed on our new home construction project. He is knowledgable, meticulous, and exceeded our expectations. Our project took a bit longer than expected partly because of Mr. Ivanov's attention to detail and wanting to get everything "right". He never took any shortcuts and made himself available whenever needed, visiting the job site beyond the visits he committed himself to. You will not find another architect with his moral compass, expertise, professionalism, or competence.

We had decided to rebuild our house. We had done many remodels to our existing home, but this was going to be one of the biggest projects for us. We needed an architect that we could trust, since this wasn't something we had much experience in. We had interviewed many architects and none were able to show us what we wanted to see. When we met with Pavel Ivanov, he was able to let us see what our home will look like by sketching it within minutes. That sold us to hire him, one of the best decisions we made. He was very professional, listened to our interests and what was important to us. He was always available for the many equations that comes up during construction, and visited the site often. Our home is beautiful and exactly as we had dreamed it would be. If you are interested in hiring an architect, Pavel Ivanov is the man for the job. After researching and meeting with different Architects, we were very excited to have met Pavel Ivanov. His extensive knowledge and experience has made this process very easy for us. He listened to what we were looking for (including our wish list) and designed the perfect house for us, just the way we envisioned! His drawings were very meticulous and well organized. Our Project was complete ground up construction of a single story (plus basement) French style home with a detached garage and pool house. The City Planning/Design also had no issues with his design as it incorporated and followed all their guidelines while still providing us with everything we had wished for. The Project was approved on the first go around. Pavel has been in constant contact with us during all stages of the construction with site visits, upon our request, when we have need him for his guidance and expertise. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Pavel and we would HIGHLY recommend him as your Architect!

In 2002 Pavel has been invited by our company to be a leading Architect for the development of the Zhailjau Golf Course Project, to include a Clubhouse, 52 luxury villas and 120 apartments condominium building for the 18 hole Arnold Palmer signature Golf Course Project in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Since then, almost for 20 years we continue to be reliable partners and friends, working on a number of public, residential and commercial projects in Kazakhstan. Despite the fact that most of the time we have to work on the distance of 14,000 km, thanks to Pavel's professionalism and personal attitude most of the projects which were built according to Pavel Ivanov,AIA,Inc. companies design, became landmarks of our city.

Guillermo Montero

I had the opportunity to work with Architect Pavel Ivanov on two large mega mansion projects located within the City of Beverly Hills. These two mansions were largest single family homes built in the area for two consecutive years. One of the homes was approximately 25,000 square feet built on a steep hillside with 4 levels of structural concrete/steel. Pavel originally sketched this home in 2 hours with a pencil. The second home is a 32,000 square feet built on flat land, incredibly French architectural design and one of the most expensive homes in the City of Beverly Hills. Pavel Ivanov is a consummate professional with incredible creative talent and skills that is able to assist you with building one of a kind masterpiece home project.
