Choosing Meridian Homes was the best thing we could have done when we decided to do a complete renovation/gut job on the older home we acquired. My wife and I had heard nightmares from other couples about working with builders and how we would likely walk away from the experience scarred. That's the complete opposite of our experience with Michael, Jason, Steven, and the rest of the team at Meridian. We are now clients for life and highly recommend them to anyone who wants to turn their dream home into reality. There are so many things that I could share that makes this team special. I will just highlight a few... - their relationships with contractors are very strong and as a result it helps you, the end client. If something isn't done right the first time, Meridian and the contractor figure it out and work seamlessly together behind the scenes to make it right. I think contractors understand that if they don't do a good job on Meridian jobs it will have negative consequences for them down the road in terms of new job opportunities. - experience matters in the world of construction. I would venture to guess that there aren't many things the team at Meridian hasn't seen before. As a result, they are able to anticipate challenges and devise strategies upfront to avoid or figure the right solution. In the case with our home, we had to work around concrete floors and walls with the existing structure. This had material implications on our HVAC system, lighting, electrical, etc. Not many teams could have worked around this challenge as easily as they did. - the customer service was indeed concierge level as advertised. Jason Ekus, the Project Manager, was available to us 24/7. He went above and beyond and was actually the one pushing us on some matters to make sure we had made selections in time and avoid any unnecessary delays. - Meridian has the right feel of a small business mixed with the processes/structure of a larger organization. It seems like this is another byproduct of having the experience in building that this team does that required them to make sure that their own infrastructure was as strong as the homes they were building. In closing, thank you to Michael, Jason and the rest of the team for your hard work. We are fortunate to have worked with you.

Meridian Homes helped us make a traditional shower into a glamourous, tranquil, and modern Steam Shower! We also used their services for custom bookshelves for two children’s rooms and the master closet. Additionally they did a new front front, painting our interiors, and some odd jobs inside the hiuse. We love working with them. The are very professional, have excellent customer service and attention to detail!

For 20 plus years I have had the pleasure of providing engineered wood floor I- Joists/LVL and pre-engineered Roof Truss packages to Meridian Homes. I've worked with John and Michael for over 20 years and have always enjoyed photographing their projects. The sites were always neat and clean and the homeowners welcomed us like family. I've worked with Meridian Homes, as a sub, for a very long time and they have been terrific from day one. The projects have always been done on time and every single one of their clients I have come in contact with have nothing but great things to say about their whole process, specifically, how they stay with them every step of the way until the project is complete and beyond.

Building a new home with Meridian was an all-around great experience. We appreciated their design expertise, attention to detail, well-executed craftsmanship, and personal touch. Our project manager and carpenter are still available for any questions, issues and follow up our house--or we--need. Their customer care was absolutely outstanding from the start and hasn't ended yet. We hadn't being planning on building a home, but when we found a great property, we knew we needed a builder that would be mindful of our family's needs, budget and sense of style. We also wanted a company that we could work with on a daily basis, staffed with good people that we could trust and had our best interests in mind. From day one, Meridian was that team. Michael, the President, gave us good advice about the property we were purchasing, and how to navigate deconstructing the existing house. When he could tell we weren't thrilled by the ready-made house plans on offer, he brought in an architect who really listened to us, took into account how we live and how we wanted to use our new space. When we shared ideas, we felt listened to, not railroaded into things that were better for them. The Meridian staff is wonderful. The office staff professionally and efficiently handled issues with the County, WSSC, Pepco, our lender and others. Our project manager, Jason, was superb. He was patient through long meetings at tile shops, cabinetry, plumbing & lighting stores, etc. He kept me mindful of deadlines for selections, managed appointments and offered solid advice along the way. When I didn't appreciate how pushy a subcontractor was about some elements he " just knew" we needed to install, my concerns weren't pushed aside or downplayed. The answer was: we will get someone else. I was listened to, and repeatedly told "we want you to be happy". When our house was finished, the owner and project manager walked the house with a far more detailed eye than I (and I live for minutia) and told me "if it's not perfect, you tell us". And they have meant it. As issues have come up, I know our carpenter and project manager are just a phone call or text away. Everything we have come across has been dealt with promptly and well. We are loving our new home; it is perfect for us. We aren't racing to build anytime soon, but if we were, we would use Meridian again in a heartbeat.

Meridian is a fantastic home builder and renovation company. About a year ago we interviewed a couple of builders to build a custom home. We chose Meridian based on their professionalism, responsiveness, and impressive portfolio. Jason, the Project Designer, was our main contact throughout the process. He was very organized, provided great design input, and made the process appear easy. He broke down each process step by step in an organized fashion and gave us a heads up on what to expect next. As we had no experience building a home before, this hand-holding was very comforting. We are very pleased with the house they built for us. It exceeded our expectation in terms of quality and function. Steve the Lead Carpenter has high expectations of his work and is very detail oriented. He was quick to point out any needed improvements or adjustments during the process and worked expeditiously, and the house was delivered ahead of schedule in mint condition. The craftsmanship that Steve and his crew demonstrated were excellent. Even after the delivery of the house, they continue to help us beautify our house and checks on us to see if there is anything we need. Michael and Jonathan who are the Principals of the company are very personable, and really know how to hire good people. Even the staff who were working more behind the scenes appear to be very efficient at what they do to help the work move forward. In all, we are very glad we hired Meridian to build our home.
