Lakeville Kitchen and Bath

My experience with Lakeville from start to finish was beyond pleasant and stress-free. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful, and I can't say enough good things about our designer, Jenna. Throughout the entire design process she was patient, creative, and understood exactly what I was looking for. I finally have my dream kitchen, and I couldn't be happier with her work.

You know who should use Lakeville Kitchens? Someone who prefers every mistake possible, your problems taking days to be acknowledged and then wait three to four weeks for the manufacturer to make the replacement pieces. All while your installer is freaking out because a three week kitchen installation has taken months more and you need to pay for his services. Not once has my Lakeville designer come to my house to see the repetitive mistakes he made and I live within one mile of the showroom. Awful customer service, nightmare experience.

Purchased complete kitchen cabinets directly through Lakeville Industries. Designer: Started with our own design complete with full dimensional sketches, and had already selected the cabinets from Lakeville's showroom. That said, they still assigned a designer (Rich Coulton) to us who personally re-measured site dimensions and produced complete drawings based on our original design and the actual cabinets to be ordered. This all proved immensely helpful. He supported our design and choices completely, while still offering input as needed. Showroom: Lakeville has a large, attractive, and well-stocked showroom with several cabinet manufacturers and many styles represented. Friendly personnel are available to answer questions, but leave you alone to explore. Ordering: A free budgetary quote was initially provided based on our design and cabinet choices. Our actual order was put together by the designer in person at the Lakeville offices, piece by piece. The written order confirmation was rather generic and I would have preferred a detailed order confirmation to avoid misunderstandings later. Fortunately in the end there were no significant misunderstandings between us and Lakeville. Delivery: Cabinets were delivered from manufacturer to Lakeville's local warehouse, then Lakeville delivered to our house at our convenience. Actually Lakeville dropped it (14 cabinets) off into our garage while we were not home, at our specific request. There were no damages at all, and all cabinets were well-packed and protected. Product: see review elsewhere for Crystal Cabinets Responsiveness: Throughout the project Lakeville personnel were readily available, returned phone calls and e-mails promptly, and resolved all issues without argument. Their field service people were courteous and professional in resolving issues at my home as necessary. There were many dimensional and delivery errors made by the manufacturer, which Lakeville resolved. My biggest complaint with Lakeville was the lengthy time to resolve issues caused by the manufacturer. Each of several mis-made cabinets or components took 6 weeks to replace; Since some items were replaced several times to get it right (again, the manufacturer's fault not Lakeville's) this extended the final completion over 3 months. Perhaps this delay was unavoidable with this manufacturer, but I would have hoped that Lakeville could get the replacements expedited to minimize the inconvenience to us (i.e. living without a kitchen). Summary: I would not hesitate to use Lakeville Industries again. I will recommend Lakeville Industries to friends and associates, but will warn them about the specific cabinet manufacturer (Crystal) and about potential delays.

I ordered my semi-custom double vanity for my master bathroom reno from Lakeville. Very happy with the product and service. Only negative was that the showroom is far from my house and the original day I went they closed early. I called to confirm they were open, so once arriving and seeing they were closed I was pretty upset that I wasted 2 hours of my day. Besides that, happy with them and would go back.

I am just finishing a new kitchen for which Kathy from Lakeville designed. Kathy really listened to what I had envisioned and I couldn't be happier with the result. Her recommendation for a Quartzite counter versus marble for practical purposes was a great idea, and now I love the Quartzite more than I would have the marble (the beautiful blues and greens that come through in different lighting are amazing). The moldings she selected and details she added I couldn't have done without her.
