My family and I worked with this firm for our home renovation. Not only do we absolutely love the result, John and Kathy could not have been more professional or helpful. They created a very detailed and thorough master architectural plan which even two years later, we come to appreciate more by the day as we live in the house and notice new details and touches that they had added. Easy and seamless experience. We could not have been more satisfied.

With JOhn's help and vision we built our dream home on the water. Given the constraints of a small piece of property, we were able to create what most thought would be impossible. John was open to using our ideas as a base and take off from there. John was readily available and enthusiastic in resolving any issues which arose, which are quite significant when building in a flood-zone. It has been a journey and as I sit here in front of our beautiful gas fire place and looking out at the water, I am happy that John was on board for the adventure.

We hired J.M. Currie architects to Design new mudroom, garage and master suite extension, gut-renovate kitchen/dining room area. They were a pleasure to work with, very professional and had excellent ideas and suggestions for our project. They were accessible and responsive during the whole construction phase. We love what they designed for us and would highly recommend them.

John Currie designed a new kitchen for us. It involved totally gutting the existing kitchen, expanding the footprint and creating new space. He was respectful of our aims, even when we didn't seem to know exactly what it was we desired . He patiently and creatively reconfigured the space several times until we all achieved what we wanted., which is a dream kitchen. \He was respectful, and stayed within budget and was timely. He interacted beautifully with contractors.. He is a delight to work with and we have only glowing recommendations. It was truly a labor of love on both sides.

J.M. Currie Architects provided excellent service and a beautiful design for our home renovation. John created the perfect layout and space, and Kathy helped us create our dream kitchen. We would highly recommend working with them.

JMC Architects was thoroughly professional and attentive to every detail throughout our extensive home renovation project. Our project ran in excess of a year and involved the complete renovation/rebuilding of our kitchen, family room, dining room, 4 1/2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, entrance hall and playroom. John Currie met with the general contractor at least on a weekly basis on site as well as always being available for consultation with us or any of the subcontractors. John Currie designed 7 built-in units and also many other architectural details throughout the house. Kathy Currie designed the kitchen and bathrooms and, as we remarked recently at a gathering at our home, everyday we marvel at the beauty of her designs. In conclusion, we were delighted with JMC Architects and would recommend them to anyone without reservation.
