Matt and his team are true professionals. The project was closing in our 2 story living room to create a new bedroom/office space upstairs. The project was on time, in the estimated budget and the quality of the work was top notch. They took the time to make sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. This was our first home redesign project and Matt and his team made the entire project smooth and easy for us. I would highly recommend them.

Our recent basement renovation into a photography studio was a complete success from all points! The design, the process, and the actual construction results are 100% what we wanted. Our flooded basement needed a total restoration; thus requiring work from many different disciplines. We could not have wished for a better company to oversee the work and were thrilled with the finished product. No problem was too small (or great) and the expertise employed by carpenter, tiler, plumber, electrician, painters et al was second to none. During the drywall restoration we wanted to minimize dust so after much research we requested the use of 'magnesiacore' and were delighted with the results. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend this company. They embody a wonderful combination of professionalism, talent and personal attention. They fulfill their mission statement and philosophy, as stated on their website, to the last degree.

Everyone was very professional. We were impressed with the quality of the work and the timeliness. Overall, we had a very good experience.

Remodeled bathroom - new shower, new floors, new faucets. Worked closely with us during design to keep within our budget. Superior workmanship produced result which exceeded our expectations.

Stone fireplace installed stone heart. The fireplace was already installed when the house was build. Matthew Bowe Design installed stone around our fireplace and a 100 year old beam that was part of the barn we used for a mantle. The project looks great. We also had them remove a glass framed door and move it to another doorway. You can't even tell it had been removed and relocated.

We worked with Matt Bowe and his team for our bathroom remodel and had an excellent experience throughout the process. Matt was detailed in the proposal and truly listened to what we were looking for, even when we weren't sure ourselves. Kathy was excellent help in selecting finishes and products to include identifying cabinetry options that enabled us to splurge on a tile mosaic that "I fell in love with", The construction team was clean, on time and respectful of our home during the unheaval (reality is that it remodeling will always be an upheaval of your lives). We were more than please with the results and will use Matt and his team for our next major project (finishing our basement)

Jakobsen & Bowe were not only a great contractor, these two gentlemen were hard working and honest people.They worked very hard to meet our needs and went the extra mile for us in all areas,Example we wanted to add a deck to our sun room they considered our ideas and came up with a design we liked.They added barn style doors to this deck enclosure which saved room as far as opening the doors.They honored their agreements with us in all areas.We would not hesitate to refer them to anyone looking for a home builder,which have already done numerous times.We have dealt with other contractors in the past and Jakobsen & Bowe with their integrity and work ethics raises their firm high above others in our estimation. We selected J&B over 4 other contractors to finish our basement and create a bonus room (laundry/craft/sewing room) over our garage. From beginning to end, J&B were consummate professionals - they were continuously available regardless of the day or time of day, they were courteous in both word and action and they were highly respectful of our home's private space. In addition to these important client sensitivities, J&B did exceptional work in our basement and bonus room - the attention to detail and workmanship was extraordinary; we frequently receive compliments about our basement and bonus from guests. While there were a couple issues along the way, J&B rapidly corrected the situation and made good on the work. J&B is a values-based company that is extraordinarily competent with fair and reasonable prices - I would hire them again in a minute! Superb!
