From day 1, she really understood what we were after, and executed on our vision tremendously. Not only are we thrilled with how our house turned out, but we were thrilled with the process along the way. Raychel was highly communicative, responsive and flexible to meet our needs. We never once felt an ounce of pressure, and we were able to be completely honest with each other throughout the process. Raychel made what could have been a very overwhelming project (full gut renovation of our new home which is almost 100 years old on Long Island)— VERY fun! We loved working with Raychel b/c she made it so easy for us! She inherently knows when to include her clients (city trips to check out lighting options & sit on potential new furniture!) and when to work things out herself on your behalf. She works so hard to create the vision that you will fall head over heels in love with. We would work with her again in a heartbeat. I can not recommend her more highly.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Wade Design. Before hiring her we were lost! She understood our needs and delivered a beautiful home with grace and integrity (and a lot of laughs). She is an expert in design and has has beautiful taste. Her connections and sources with vendors and showrooms allowed us see items we would have never found on our own. And textiles! She is the master of finding and mixing color and pattern so that it looks natural and homey and not overly done or matchy matchy. It all came together seamlessly. I feel like our house is now a home, and exactly what we envisioned. Hire her!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Raychel. When I saw her pics on Houzz, I knew she was the designer I wanted. I knew how I wanted my house to look and feel, but I had no idea how to make that happen. Raychel's rooms all share a unique style that are both comfortable and livable without feeling too ‘decorated’ which was important to our growing family. From the very first meeting all the way through until the installation of our design we were impressed. She went above and beyond and made the whole process easy for us, which is what I needed as a working mom with young kids. Raychel took the time to get to know us, listen to our needs and wants and then took that and designed our home with our family in mind. It didn't feel cookie cutter at all, which is what we were looking for. Now that we are done I kind of wish we could buy another home just to use her again!

I had never worked with an interior decorator before but knew I needed help when we bought our first apartment. I was tired of living among cookie cutter furniture. I was immediately drawn to the warmth and textures in Raychel's work. From our very first meeting to the end of the project, Raychel was collaborative, creative and fast. While she was always receptive to my crinkled magazine inspiration tear-outs, she would preceded to show me things blew my initial ideas out of the water! She truly helped make our apartment a place that I am proud and excited to come home to every day.

Raychel is smart, savvy, fashionable, and has great taste. She is incredibly easy to talk to and she hears you. She is always on the lookout for interesting and different items and brings in pieces from all over the the globe. I am glad that I found her to bring a fresh perspective to all of my decorating needs.

After having several meetings with architects and various interior designers, to no avail, I knew immediately upon my first meeting with Raychel that she was the one who would successfully transform my aesthetically unpleasing kitchen with little storage space into one that is immensely functional and beautiful. Raychel marries form and function perfectly. Her sense of style and color mixed with her passion and commitment to her work produced our dream kitchen on time and on budget. Since the experience was so delightful we went on to have her transform our Den and then our Guest Room into places of absolute beauty and comfort.

Commented: I’m interested in the drape rod extending over 1/2 of the window.You cant see it but that is a wall of windows and so we decided to do half rods. I think it's a great solution for a corner.
