About Us

Kathy Bloodworth is a seasoned professional with a diverse artistic background. More importantly, she listens. Kathy understands that working in a collaborative manner with her clients -- blending their vision and lifestyle with her knowledge and artistic expertise -- results in interiors that are exciting, timeless and functional. Her experience in photography, fine arts and advertising production gives her an excellent eye towards creating an inaginative confluence of color, composition, silhouette, balance and lighting. Kathy obtained her design degree from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, after studying fine arts and photography at the University of Georgia. She is an allied member of A.S.I.D. and sits on the Board of the Northern California Chapter.

Kathy Bloodworth and I collaborated on the design of several vanities for a home in SF. I very much enjoyed the process of taking her designs and together developing the final cabinetry shop drawings. Her selection of the materials and finishes and her awareness about the details made these vanities a powerful statement. She has a great rapport with her clients. The finished interiors of this home are a statement to her expertise.

When I look at Kathy's work these are some of the key words that come to the front of my mind: Refinement, sophistication, richness, coordinated, soulful. Each project she touches shows that a keen ear for listening is involved in her process. Her client comes first. In an age where everyone is screaming "Me, me, me!!" her elegance and subtle restraint in decision-making speak volumes.The variety of solutions she proposes speaks to the attention to detail, but also how she relates to the individuality of each client. Colors, furniture, surfaces, lighting, space planning.... Kathy is professional, pleasant and a huge asset to your remodeling project. I highly recommend her.

Kathy Bloodworth is an extremely talented designer. I have had the fortunate opportunity to personally be in some of the spaces she has provided Interior Design for and my breath was taken away. Kathy definitely has the "eye" for color and textures. If your looking for that "wow" factor she can design it. If you don't have the budget to do a project all at once, she has great patience for those clients looking to achieve total house redo over a long time period. I highly recommend Kathy Bloodworth.
