SASA Works

I really enjoyed my shoot of Sasawork’s, unique, modern extension project to a traditional Edwardian house. They had clearly gone to great lengths to balance the old with the new and the two spaces flowed seamlessly together, which made it very easy to get it published in a magazine! The client was full of praise for them and had obviously enjoyed a collaborative design process, where they felt they had been included every step of the way.

We hired Sasa Works to design and build an extension to our Edwardian home in Blackheath, South East London. We spent a long time thinking about the project and looking for the right architect. We selected Sasa Works because we felt comfortable with Craig and Louise, we liked the projects they had worked on and they proposed a collaborative design process - as an interior designer and architect trained couple, that was essential for us! We are thrilled with the space that we have ended up with. We didn't want a glass box extension, we wanted a contemporary space that harmoniously incorporated the period features of the house. We now have a perfect space to relax, entertain, cook and eat in, that links beautifully with the garden, and provides lots of useful storage. The quality of the workmanship and care taken in the build is truly impressive.

My encounter with the Sasaworks chair was at an exhibition entitled Handmade in Britain and immediately fell in love with the simplicity of the handmade quality, each tiny detail so thoughtfully handcrafted, the proportions perfect and comfortable.. The delivery timeframe was discussed and wood samples dispatched to me and six weeks after the order was placed this gorgeous, unique creation was delivered to my home. I am more than happy to recommend Sasaworks and would certainly chose them to design my home.
