January 2019 update,,, no water pipes frozen again. No Response from Lawerence Homes to fix the frozen pipes. They did attempt to fix them once which failed, soon as the warrenty was up they failed to respond when I asked them to come back and actually fix it correctly. Tough when you have very small kids in a house without water, but it doesn’t seem to bother Larry or Janette,,,, have you seen the estate they live on.... I bet they have water this morning. Larry & Jeanette, please do the right thing and fix the home, we paid you a lot of money to build!
Oh,,, and the small air returns don’t even work,,, over two years now and the air filters still look brand new. I guess they just cut the hole in the wall without hooking up the air returns and they say they build enery efficient homes....

I regret having Lawrence Homes from Creedmoor NC build our home. The number of problems that occurred as a result of poor workmanship, materials, and the builder never being on the job site and never showing up to fix problems still haunt us over two years after being in our home. To give you a “few” examples of our problems,,, in our $500K++ home built in 2015: our pipes still freeze solid when the temperature drops to 30 degrees. I guess they never heard of insulating pipes if they run them on an exterior wall. We have cupping in our wood floors due to the high moister levels in our basement as a result of exterior basement walls not being water proofed to code. The flag stone in our front walk way is very cheap and falling apart after two years. You can dig a ½ inch hole in the concrete anywhere basement with a key in a matter of seconds due to poor concrete job. During the build we had to fight with the builder for weeks to repair a major scratches and shoe footprints imbedded in our concrete walkway. They called them hairline scratches only visible at certain angles. Ha! Easy to see on the video and pictures. But since Larry the contracted builder never showed up to address problems after he received our last check I guess they were not visible to him… Two totally different stones were put on the front of our home and I was told that was my problem to work out with the contractor they hired. Poor craftsman ship can be seen throughout. Multiple times I was billed for add-on items that were in my original contract. There mistake here mistake if you catch it, your loss if you don’t. Again, once they got my last check I never saw them onsite to address any issues including when water was leaking in our basement. Through hiring my own experts I discovered the water proofing around the house was not to code,,, they had to dig feet down around ¾ of our house to repair it after we were in and the landscaping was done. It was even painful to get them to repair the damage their trucks did to my neighbor’s lawn. In fact the last text I received from the builder was a vulgar text after he was asked to repair their lawn. I have many more examples but thought I would just provide a few and share my experience with Lawrence Homes Inc.
