Joni is a luxury interior and furniture designer adept in curating unprecedented covetable pieces. Recently featured in Vogue Living, LUXE, InStyle, Veranda Magazine, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, as well as HGTV’s House Hunters Renovation, Joni continues to make her mark in the industry. As an Executive Designer for Sony Pictures Entertainment and later Director of Interiors for Twentieth Century Fox Studios, Joni’s early career role was to assist in redesigning historical studio facilities constructed in the 30’s. She shaped her career working with some of the biggest names in Hollywood including, writer and director James L Brooks, Rupurt Murdoch of News Corp, Chuck Lorre writer and creator of Two and a Half Men & Big Bang Theory, actors Richard Gere and Shaun Conery, among many others. Today Joni Koenig Interiors serves the Los Angeles and San Diego area. With a belief that every project should be unique and custom JKI is delighted to offer a full range of interior design service providing guidance through the entire design, construction, finish and furnishing process. From the initial consultation to the final reveal. We selected Joni to help us with the interior design of our lake house remodeling project. She was outstanding in every way. Joni worked with us to understand our desired style and budget. From design to paint colors to furnishings, she offered great suggestions within those constraints and provided very tasteful results. Joni is very professional, knowledgeable and worked well as a partner with us and our general contractor. We are completely satisfied and recommend her highly.

Joni has a beautiful aesthetic point of view, and impeccable taste, but at the same time wants to make sure she combines her taste and experience with the client's priorities so that the resulting design is one the client particularly can appreciate and enjoy. We have been working with Joni since 2013. She has worked on two very different projects for us. She helped turn our brand new remodel of a 1920's house into a home that truly reflects our casual comfortable style and did it well within our budget. Everything she has brought us has fit beautifully into our home. Our second project was a complete remodel of a 1970's beach condo that has wowed everyone who has walked through the door, especially US! As a designer Joni gets to know you and really works with you to make your project a top priority. She will be available when you need her and is a great advocate if a piece is ordered or delivered incorrectly. I cannot recommend Joni Koenig enough as an interior designer but most importantly as a truly kind, generous and gifted woman.

Joni is simply amazing! We have had the great pleasure of working with Joni on our home redesign and remodel. This was our first experience working with an interior designer, and from the moment she walked in for the consultation we knew we would be in outstanding hands. Joni has the ability to not only envision the big picture but to communicate it in a way that so we can understand as well. She is creative, incredibly patient, supportive, and never pushy. She has gotten to know our design preferences, budget, and comfort level so well which has allowed us to stretch our aesthetic without ever feeling uncomfortable. Joni has an amazing wealth of information and contacts so that almost any question gets answered, and incredibly promptly too! Our house is looking beautiful thanks to Joni (we get tons of compliments!!), and we can't thank her enough! Anyone would be incredibly fortunate to work with Joni!

Joni has done design work at my and my wife's Tarzana home, and she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. It was remarkable how she was able to pick up on who we are and tailor our home's style to our personalities. She made suggestions that we may not have considered on our own, but that we love and have worked out wonderfully. Also, she was considerate of existing aspects of our home that we didn't want to change and made them blend seamlessly with the upgrades. Joni also was the lead designer on an almost to-the-studs renovation for a rental townhome we own in Zuma. The unit came out absolutely gorgeous. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joni for any interior project.
