Happy Floors

Bought 1,400 sq ft of large format tiles. Came in Different deliveries for some reason…which ended up being different lots. Called Happy Floor and emailed them. No response and now I have mismatched tiles and crickets from the Happy Floor people. Their distributor was scared to complain to them otherwise they would lose their distributor relationship. DO NOT BUY!

Happy Floors 24x24 Valencia Beige Reflected Porcelain tiles 02/21/2023 We just purchase over 700 square feet of the above-specified tile. We selected Happy Floors among many competitive porcelain tiles because we wanted to install a premium quality tile based on the reputation Happy Floors had gained. The results fell well short of expectations. Today we visited our Condo to check on the work progress, which is almost complete, with high expectations on the quality of the product and workmanship. We were horrified on what we witnessed. The majority of the tiles had a terrible miss-match at the joints, which showed the tiles were NOT flat. They clearly had warpage and curves. Upon close examination there seemed to be a pattern, the majority of the tiles are warped (curved). This is clearly a manufacturing defect. The Curvature/Warpage was between 1/8 inch (3.20mm) to 3/16 (4.75mm) on one of the left over tiles, which aligns with the miss-match you see on the floor. This is unacceptable and exceeds ANSI standards for warpage, Where are the quality checks? My concern is that long term these tiles will not last due to the many protrusions due to the warpage of the tiles, and eventually all these tripping points will chip and make things worse. The contractor will try to smooth out some of the transition points by add extra grouting. My expectation is that this defect must be reported to the manufacturing facility of Happy Floors. In summary, I paid for a premium price for this product by selecting Happy Floors and ended up with a poor quality product. I now have to consider the replacement cost of the tiles, plus the labor to remove and replace the tiles, which is a tremendous cost burden. As you can imagine I am not so `Happy`. I await your response. I have contacted customer service, and all I get is we will pass the message on, but so far no action. Stay away from this product!

I strongly discourage anyone to purchase from this company. I installed Happy Floor tiles throughout my house, they stain very easily. I thought it was a problem with the tiles I selected, but I noticed that other customer experienced the same issue. They are certainly overpriced for the quality they provide. Furthermore, I recently had a repaired that required the removal of some of the tiles. When I tried to purchase additional tiles to repair the damage, I found out that they were discontinued. I reached out to Happy Floor's customer service and asked assistance to find a dealer that would still had a remnant in store. After the first two emails (from Carla) both asking for only my address (which I provided it), all communications stopped. I asked to at least let me know the status, so I could find a different solution, but nothing, not even a courtesy email to tell me that no help could be provided. In summary, Happy Floor's tiles are overpriced, have substandard quality, and the company does not have a professional customer support (sentiment shared by other reviewers on this site). If you experience a problem you are on your own. There are beautiful tiles on the market, I can't find any good reason to use this company ever again.

I just had over 2000 sq Ft of Happy Floor tile installed in my home. So far, over 70 tiles now sound hollow, issues with leveling. The floor was inspected by a professional credible flooring inspector. The floor will need replaced. Happy Floors have not received the report, and they will very soon. Will Happy Floors will stand behind their product? I’m not so happy right now.

I would not recommend happy floors rule to anyone. We have received 2 shipments of broken tile. And our 3rd shipment is MIA after we were promised a quick delivery. Our rep has not returned my phone call. Worst part is we have 2 bathrooms open in a house and they don’t even care. Home owners have company coming from out of town and this is how they treat customers. Stay away from this company.

After a year of searching for ideas for my kitchen online (Covid presented challenges), I was finally able to visit my sister in Atlanta. She had re-done her entry, and it was beautiful. She highly recommended Happy Floors and I fell in love with their Macaubas line. I am thrilled with the results. While shipping delays did hold up my project, it was worth the wait!

We ordered many square feet of tile from this company through a distributor. After installation and a month of use we noticed that most of the tiles have a defect in their glazing. Neither the distributor nor Happy Floors did anything to help us. Happy Floors wouldn't even replace the extra boxes we had purchased for spares. Horrible company.

Happy Floors tile has spots that will not come off with regular mopping. Contacted installer and happy floors distributor without a solution to having spots all over the tile. Spots make the floor look dirty all the time. Very disappointed in the tile and lack of customer service.

Warning do not buy happy floors tiles. Bought and installed Amazonas Blanc tiles from happy floors throughout my house. The tiles are defective and don’t have a coating on them. The dirt does not come out of the tiles. Don’t buy any happy floors tiles they do not stand behind there tiles! Horrible company!!!

Our contractor discovered 4 of the tiles we ordered to be unevenly shaped, 1 in each box, and we processed the exchange of these tiles with their dealer immediately. It's been almost a week and we've been told either the HF NY sales person is unreachable or that they'd call back but she never calls back. At this point, our kitchen is missing 4 tiles and unfinished and I'd have to pay extra for the contractor to come back another day to finish the job and we still don't know when we can receive those tiles. This is horrible customer service.

As a dealer for Happy floors I can highly recommend their products for residential and commercial use. Not only has our company used their flooring in many kitchen and bathroom projects but we also display them in our showroom and the quality is remarkable. Our clients are always pleased with the results and there is so many options for each unique style. The staff is helpful and delivery is always on time.
