Alberta Siding Projects is proud to have done the exterior siding work for Ranger Homes on the house in Bowness that they designed to accommodate for future flood possibilities. They designed the house on stilts to protect it from flood waters. Ranger Homes is a great company to work for and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

Ranger Homes, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, built us a very beautiful and unique home. The process was transparent with extensive pre-planning that made sure we met our goal of a fully flood mitigated home within our budget and our time frame to completion. Ranger Home's construction team were skilled professionals and reputable and also offered extra creativity to the finished product. After consulting other home builders, we choose Ranger Homes because our project demanded the ability to think and create outside the box of "normal building", and the resources and expertise to execute the plan. We had to demolish our old home after the flood disaster in 2013. We had looked at all of the options for a new home, living beside a big river, and decided the hindsight is the best insight to foresight, so we choose to build a house on pilings (no more basement). This kind of foundation construction is not common in our area (however it should be), and required a different approach. Ranger Homes to the rescue!! Ranger Homes, who are led by the husband and wife team, Andy and Emily Kolaczek, have extensive engineering backgrounds together with years of residential building experience. They were a perfect fit for our project. We had a lot of very specific design requirements for both inside and outside, including having the main floor of the home well above the 1/100 year flood level and Ranger Homes delivered in great detail. From the time the pre-planning began and then when the construction started, there was never a lapse of activity on the site and the building was completed right on the target date. Since we have taken possession of the home, Andy and Emily and any of the trades that worked on the home have made themselves available to us for any questions or follow up. They have all been professional and gracious in every way from start to finish. Our new home is stunning in every detail and most of all, Safe. We highly recommend Ranger Homes.

We hired Ranger Homes in 2013 to complete a renovation in Calgary, AB. Ranger Homes was thorough, accurately developed a proposal and stuck to the cost that we approved. Ranger Homes was hired to design and build our custom home completed in January of 2015. Our proposal was extremely accurate, the team was always professional, quickly responded to our questions and concerns and we were thrilled with the completed house. We would not hesitate to recommend Ranger Homes or hire the company again.

We hired Ranger Homes to take care of our large scale renovations and addition. Upon meeting with them we quickly new they were the right choice. In their proposal they provided a concise project plan, budget and scope along with a reasonable timeframe for the work. And they stuck to it! Andy and Emily brought a calm, logical approach to the project which made us trust them entirely and put our own mind's at ease. They're a very smart team! They brought with them an excellent crew and site supervisor who were always patient with any questions we did have or problems that arose. The project was a main floor "gut job", down to the studs. Plus we added 400 sqft to the house, upstairs and down. They completed it in under 6 months and had us back in our home for Christmas. Any additions to the budget were because we decided to add them. Ranger was very accurate in their prediction of costs and timing. We would not hesitate to recommend and plan to engage them again for our future basement upgrade.
