Affleck Property Services

We did a big job with Affleck and had a terrible experience with them. Virtually every element of the build had to be done twice, sometimes three times. Total mismanagement. Avoid at all costs. Worst experience of our lives.

They have a continuous change of project managers and contractors and we have spent a fortune on getting them to mend our roof. We thought it was worth spending more with a reputable company but we were very wrong. Their original roofer left, a young inexperienced roofer took over, substandard roof. Asked to speak to management and no response despite numerous emails and phone calls. Quick to take your money, once they have it, very poor quality and all customer care disappears. Strongly discourage anyone from running with them.

Fantastic work done on our flat. Affleck have very pleasant staff which were nice to have around. Definitely will use them again.

Affleck fitted our new bathroom and did a great job. They helped us design the room and then ripped out the old one and installed the new. Andre, who did the majority if the work, was fantastic. He was professional, communicative, helpful and very hard-working. He helped bring in other specialists as needed. It was an expensive bathroom to fit but I'm told that it was market rate. My only complaint (other than the price of fitting bathrooms!) was that the project manager was hardly ever on site and seemed to have little interest in communicating with me and it was simpler to go through Andre on-site.

Affleck have completed 3 residential refurbishment and extension projects for us around central London to date. They have always been friendly. The quality of work was good, and the range of skills and openness to using specialist subcontractors for unusual parts of the works was good. The management and administration was better than I expect of builders at this scale, and above all they had a positive 'can do attitude'.

We were delighted to be part of a kitchen extension project with Affleck Property Services providing our Moleanos Limestone flooring as part of the build. The knowledge of the team at Affleck around natural stone was fantastic. They had a clear appreciation of using natural stone within their projects and understood how to work with it to create the look their client was after.

I have employed Affleck for various jobs over the last 8 years ranging from property management to a new kitchen extension. I have always found them to be very trustworthy, arriving on time and working hard and quickly to get the job done on time and to budget. What is great about Affleck is that they offer a full service where they have expert knowledge about everything from plumbing to electrics and to a full on renovation and so you don't have to find different tradesmen and is quite a relief to hand over the whole project to them. Also importantly their workers are polite and clean up at the end of each day!
