Mittendorf Quality Construction

Hired at the recommendation of our architect to renovate our kitchen and half bath. Overall the work has ended up very good, but the process was long and suffered from poor communication. The cabinet maker he recommended was spectacuar and a pleasure to work with. However Mittendorf personnel did not involve us in crucial decisions that ended up with problems - how high should the hood be? What kind of edge do you want on your granite counter and bar? No one asked us these questions and we only foind out after there were poroblems that we could have remedied them with better attention to details ahead of time. And of course, the job took ~ 7 weeks longer than projects; double the time he estimated. The budget was not exceeded. Recommend if you hire them, make sure you know ALL of the decisions that are being made ahead of time and meet with them often to make sure you are getting what you want.
