Joseph Richardson created a beautiful creation at the job site where we built a luxury custom home. His design and layout was perfect. It truly was the cherry on top which compliments the house very well. We give you a 5-star review because your work is excellent!

We've had the pleasure of working with Joe on several recent projects, one large new home project in Bethesda very recently. It's been a wonderful experience - From the onset of design presentation through budget pricing and finally install, Joe is very hands on and involved throughout the entire project. He's super professional, and does a great job of listening to each projects needs while staying budget conscious! Not to mention he has a wonderful design aesthetic. We will continue to recommend him to our clients.

Joe worked with us over several weeks to determine our landscaping needs and budget. He listens well and is knowledgeable about plants and especially about costs as he works with a large landscaping company as well as doing his own design work. He prepared a well-researched design for our front yard with several options detailed and worked with us to make sure that we both liked and could afford the proposed design. He then served as the project manager for our job with Wheat Landscaping, We were very happy with the Wheat team of workers and loved having Joe there to make sure the design plan was followed. The real bonus is how much larger our front yard seems after the new planting was finished!

Joseph Richardson provided the highest level of professionalism while helping us to create the walled garden of our dreams. He went out of his way to research and find the exact kind of statuary and fountain that we needed to create the proper English garden feel to our backyard in historic Georgetown. All questions/issues were responded to in a timely and thorough fashion. His ability to understand an individual client's particular aesthetic sensibilities and his desire to make sure the project was completed according to that client's vision and without compromise made working with him an absolute pleasure. We will be using him again with complete confidence on our next project -- the front yard!

Our garden was a difficult indoor atrium with lighting, water and plants that needed many hours of patient work. Joe was good at thinking of solutions, patient and always available when we emailed or called. I would high recommend his work.

I've been renovating my home for the past 18 months, and during that time I've met a lot of design and construction professionals. Joe stands out for his talent and his personal commitment to doing a great job. I began working with Joe a few months before moving in. After a few short meetings, Joe got a sense of my tastes and developed a clear understanding of what I was hoping to achieve with the outdoor spaces. Even the first version of his design was excellent, but we worked through a few iterations and got to an outstanding result. We refined the project based on timing, scope, and budget, and it's a credit to Joe that the landscaping is one of very few elements of the project that was delivered both on time and on budget. Although a major landscaping project is a significant investment, I believe the cost was reasonable compared to other firms I considered but especially based on the outstanding quality of Joe's designs and the final product. Working with Joe has been an absolute pleasure, and I'm looking forward to working with him again this spring when we tackle the side and back yard.

I explained my vision of the project and Mr. Richardson was able to provide me with beautiful, color renderings of different options on the design. This helped me, immensely, in deciding exactly what I wanted. Because he knew that I was working with a limited budget, Mr. Richardson was able to design an overall plan for my outdoor space that would allow me to reach my goal in stages as my budget allowed. He has delivered an excellent product on time and on budget. He was on site daily to insure that the work was being accomplished to his satisfaction.
