The home design appointment provided me with the knowledge and information I needed to update my home without recommending all new replacement. I received tips on decluttering, how to use my existing home contents, as well as, recommendations for new purchases that would greatly enhance my home. Sherry was gentle in her approach and very knowledgeable.

I do most of my own decorating but there are just times when you need a professional. Sherry helped me with three small projects that really finished my dining room and kitchen makeovers. My dining room chairs needed not only reupholstering but new padding. Sherry gave me a good fabric selection and arranged for pickup and delivery. Then I wanted a new window treatment to really set off my bay window. Again she helped wit the fabric, design, and even a little bling. The final project was for new lighting in the kitchen and adjoining sunroom. She had several books for selecting and we agreed on two lovely updated fixtures. Sherry listens to what you want and has the resources to meet almost any need. Oh, and did I say she is very reasonable and willing to work on a room or the whole house.

My home had not been updated since moving in 25 years ago. I was stuck in the 80's. ShazDesign listened carefully to what I wanted to do, was able to come up with a plan that used most of my furnishings by updating or rearranging and in a timely manner. I had a tight timeline and it was met with every detail. Paint colors, fabrics, recommendations of vendors all came together in a very comfortable space to entertain and relax. Sherry, of Shaz Designs, once again performed her magic in a major remodel of 4 rooms, foyer and hallway in our house. Warm rich colors for flooring and walls were used in our new powder bath and laundry room. Soothing wall colors transformed our master bedroom and new en suite master bath. Sherry designed our master bath with a spacious walk in shower, gorgeous tile and beautiful double vanity with marble sinks. A separate water and built in linen closet turned these 2 rooms into a paradise oasis. Our bedroom furniture was repurposed using milk paint and an accent color to showcase the intricate hardware design. His and her closets were added, giving us much needed space. Tasteful accessories and lightning throughout completed the look in each room. Sherry was professional and always mindful of our ideas and budget restraints. She went that extra mile to keep us within these. From start to finish, she helped make the transition as smooth as possible. We love what she accomplished with our 1st floor living spaces. We give her a 5 star rating and A+.

ShazDesign gave us the best options for fabrics and paint colors using our art work and furniture as inspiration. Shaz also personalized our design with monogram pillows, which are divine! ShazDesign also provided a better solution for our furniture placement giving us more useable area to entertain and enjoy the outdoor space. We absolutely love her ideas and her pleasant personality! ShazDesign has worked with me both in furnishing and decorating my upstairs media room and in decorating my living room. Sherry listens, looks at what is there, and designs accordingly. She does NOT do "what she wants" but does look at what I might want in a fresh new way that envisions possibilities that I never thought of. The end result isn't a sterile decorator room but one that looks like me. She is fun to work with, is very available for questions, issues, etc. She is here when furniture is being delivered and will do as much or as little as I want.
