Greg did an amazing job for our extensive house remodel. His design for a major expansion of an older colonial house was outstanding. You can't tell where the existing house stopped and the new addition started. He worked with the existing floor plan and made decisions regarding the layout that makes the flow throughout the house very functional. Communication was easy and working with Greg was a pleasure.

Greg is a consummate and talented professional, he listens closely and his design sensibility is second to none. His sense of scale and proportion are exactly right, he never pushes an agenda but wants to satisfy your vision. If he disagrees he does so gently, gives his advice and proceeds as you want to. Having worked with other Architects I was impressed with his attention to detail and he was my “go to” person whenever I had any building questions. I cannot recommend him highly enough he is a true gentleman in all senses of the word. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Greg helped us with designs for our remodel of the 1450 square foot main level of our home. The home was built in 1984 and subsequently had a set of stairs added right in the middle of the home. We didn't like the layout as it was very closed off, with small rooms, not very much natural light, and the main living room was far from the kitchen. Greg drew up a new plan to better utilize the space and targeted to fit within our renovation budget. We had a few more ideas and he always responded quickly with an updated design. He also recommended a contractor to us, and worked with the contractor to figure out some of the details of vaulting the ceilings in our main living area, although we ended up deciding that didn't fit in our budget. He provided us as-built drawings for the house, a set of plan drawings for the remodel, and a package ready to be submitted to the city for the building permit. We were quite happy working with him and with our final product.

Greg was a pleasure to work with in every way. He took our ideas and vision of our new home and made them reality. He was always professional and a great listener. Very responsive and easily approachable with any questions or concerns we had throughout this process. We always felt like he had the same goals and our best interests in mind. He was also very creative with our plans and home ideas adding design and style elements that made our house all the more wonderful. We would highly recommend Greg to anyone.

Our project was an one story 1970 farm house remodel. We wanted to add a second story and create an updated Pacific Northwest style to our home. Greg was able to make our vision a reality. He had a vast knowledge of ways to lower costs and add beautiful accents to our home. His designs were able to keep within our building budget, and when he wasn't sure of costs he reached out to the builder for information. He was able to listen to our ideas and give us lots of great feedback throughout the design process. Even after the remodel began Greg was always willing and able to clarify or change designs along the way. His work was very reasonably priced and extremely timely. All our deadlines were met and the process went smoothly from start to finish. Greg was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him as an architect.

We couldn't be more happy with our experience working with Greg Robinson. We have a large historically significant house that we recently bought, and which is in need of significant updating. We're delighted with the designs which Greg has developed for us to update the house. Greg has expertise in preservation of historic architecture, yet a pragmatic sense of how to meld that architecture with modern living needs. His skill-set in this area is robust. Beyond that, we most appreciated the dynamic we experienced in working with Greg. He was humble, accessible, listened well, and took our unrefined thoughts and brought them to life in specifics and details we couldn't have imagined. He was firm when he felt we might risk straying too far from the house's architectural integrity, yet malleable to trying different approaches to solving our needs. We ultimately went through three significant schematic design iterations, with the third culminating in a world-class result. Greg was accommodating in appeasing our whims throughout the process. Greg's attention to detail was refreshing, as it allowed us to let-go worrying about the details. His integrity of doing what he says he's going to do on-time makes working with him easy. And, his fees and time invested have always seemed reasonable. Our fingers are crossed that we find a General Contractor to work with that is as easy to work with as Greg in order to bring his designs to reality. Based on our experience working with Greg, we highly recommend him.

As a builder I have worked for a variety of different designers and architects. What I believe sets Greg apart is his creativity, responsiveness, attention to detail and care that he puts into every project. I first experienced this during a large remodel that was designed by Greg. To my complete astonishment, when we ripped the roof off of a 4000 square foot house and added an addition with lots of timber frame elements, everything that he designed actually worked. Given the complexity of the project I was completely blown away. That's why, when it came time for me to build my own personal residence, I wanted to work with Greg. I have found that he is indeed everything I thought and more. Greg's design sense is excellent and process with his clients is caring and deliberate. His portfolio is testament to this. He can navigate any building jurisdiction issue, takes full inventory of clients' criteria from dream idea to a realistic budget, offers up a compelling design schematic, carefully develops the custom design with his client, and follows through with thorough structural and architectural drawings for the building authorities and builder to use. He designed my custom home and now our company works with him regularly.
