Carl Taylor Homes has been trading since 1999 and we are members of the Registered Master Builders Federation offering a 7 year guarantee. Carl Taylor Homes has developed a reputation in Christchurch and the Canterbury region as builders of quality homes, specialising in the construction of semi-commercial and residential buildings, architectural design and construction, project management and building maintenance. Our design and construction services include the whole building process from the conceptual planning stages through to handing over the keys of the finished dwelling. We have the resources and staff to manage and implement complete building projects. Currently we are averaging 25 to 30 up-market homes built each year. We offer house and land packages, building from customers’ own plans, and design of homes to suit individual customer needs. We use qualified sub-contractors for work such as plumbing, electrical, etc and have used the same set of sub-contractors for several years, working with them through well established business relationships. Our experience extends to the education and commercial sector with facilities to allow for tilt panel work. We also work closely with a number of architects on Ministry of Education buildings. We employ an in-house architectural designer/draftsman, enabling us to design custom homes and create the required documentation for customer-driven projects. Our full-time project manager has many years of experience in carrying projects through from start to finish. We are fully experienced in the industry standard documentation procedures including navigating the regulatory processes for permits and consents.
