Lawn works has completed 3 jobs for me this year. They always arrive on time, work late to make sure everything is perfect, and even clean up before they leave. Very professional and courteous crew!

Rick Wallace & his Lawn Works crew landscaped
Our back yard & pool area during the early spring of this year.
We discussed what we wanted (low maintenance) &
Fragrance with some flowering plants. He delivered.
2015 spring & summer blooms will be even better.
They also added a stamped concrete walkway
To the pool. His crew was on time & completed
The job as promised. He repaired our
Sprinkler system.
We also hired his company to maintain our
Warehouse grounds.
Well pleased with his services.

Rick installed a state-of-the-art RainBird irrigation system, and a a wireless rain sensor across my front and side yards. The sprinkler heads differed depending on how much water needed to be spread in each location. He upgraded a sprinkler head to a larger size after running a check on the area covered. He then educated me on how to operate the 6-zone system. When we discovered the rain sensor was not working, he replaced it the next day. Rick then provided a carefully drawn color coded map showing "which" plants he recommended planting "where." After adding a number of ferns, and a very healthy Japanese maple to the drawing, his team proceeded to establish the plants in the designated locations. He replace the same kind of plant twice at no additional cost to me and went with a hardier plant in a difficult part of the yard. Its been 18 months since the landscaping and sprinkler system were installed ( May, 2013), and I think the yard looks great! Rick was easy to work with, always polite, respectful, and
responsive. He is a true landscaping professional in the Macon, GA area.

This was probably the best all around service I have ever received from any vendor. First, my call was answered promptly and professionally. Second, the actual owner came out, talked to me about my goals, asked questions, made suggestions and then made a commitment HE ACTUALLY FOLLOWED THROUGH ON!! I was amazed when just a couple days later my proposal arrived (via email per my request) and then he came out and went over it with me, told me why he uses what he uses, what to expect , etc. The work was not only as promised, it was better than I expected. The work was guaranteed and I even had a subsequent problem (a couple of the lights started blinking for unknown reasons) and THEY CAME OUT WITHIN A DAY and fixed it at no charge! I was blown away. Since the original installation about a year ago, any problem I have had has been answered and resolved quickly and respectfully. They made promises they actually delivered on. I would definitely use LawnWorks again and again !!!

I interviewed Rick Wallace before I decided to hire him and was pleasantly surprised that he listened very carefully to what I wanted done for my pool courtyard area. I have had several landscapers in the past few years and none could do the design work that Rick did . After he was hired, he drew me a plan, which we went over several times and he was very patient with my struggle to uproot everything that I had planted 20 years ago and start over. It took me several weeks to decide to go ahead and let him take charge of what he said he could do. My yard was over grown and many things were at their end of their life cycle. He did some of the work while I was out of town and I came back to his men working feverishly from early morning to dark to get all the work done on time and never stopping to rest much. They cleaned up after each planting area, carrying everything off and leaving me with a NEAT new landscape. If I thought something could be changed to fit my liking better, it was done immediately with no arguments, no sign that it was too much trouble. His men were courteous and polite and as hard working as I have ever seen. The one big surprise is that I DO NOT MISS anything that I was so worried about digging up! I am so surprised because I usually get "attached" to my ideas and do no like change. ha !! But everything looks so completely balanced, so beautifully done with color in the right places as well as New lighting and a New drip irrigation system so that I do not have to worry about maintenance as much. He even took up as many of my old plants and SAVED them for me to use later in a bigger setting or he replanted them in a new location so that they could be salvaged and used and not waste them. Rick has an "eye" for detail and loves things to be correctly balanced...he will come back and review his work time and again to make sure it is all done correctly. They also added new dirt to invigorate growth at my suggestion and covered everything with straw to protect it for the winter. I am very pleased with the results and plan to use him on several more projects throughout my 3 acre lot.......He makes the investment worth it !

Having eclectic taste and a revulsion for the characterless features of most home properties I was almost positive I'd never find an individual who could carryout my needs for a truly out of the box property. I was wrong. Rick Wallace with his company Lawnworks has served my penchant for the wonderland of the absurd yet aesthetic marvel that surrounds my equally out of the box home. My rustic rock fountain at night is a gold fall of water into a moonlit pool beyond my imagination. Rick's lighting brought into being a fantasy. He worked wonders with invisible chicken wire creating an ever extending 20' tall leafy barrier to screen my oasis from all that surrounds me..
For five years Rick is the only one I call for the truly special treatments I relish. We're now working on getting in a 200 gal. specimen to again alter the eye's delight. Life is exciting and delightfully ever-changing!

JOB: Lawnworks removed old shrubbery from front of house, developed a landscape design for replacement, and installed new shrubbery and pinestraw. Also removed several trees from the yard.
Rick answered our request within a few days of our email and immediately scheduled an appointment to view our home and make suggestions for replacing the old shrubbery. He showed up on time (early actually!) and talked at length with us about his services. Before the week was over, he came by to present a design and estimate. We requested plants that were slow growing and low maintenance and he found the best solutions for our yard. We also wanted several trees removed and he said they could take care of that too.
His crew came early on the day scheduled and completed removal and installation of all the plants. Rick came and went, supervising every step making sure that we were satisfied with the progress. They also trimmed some of our remaining bushes to make the completed design look uniform.
They cut down four trees and removed all debris. They even trimmed some additional limbs from other trees that we had not initially requested. They came early the following morning and laid pinestraw to complete the job. The crew was very professional, friendly and helpful. After finishing work both days, their clean-up left the yard looking perfect. You would never have known that any equipment had been there.
We are so very pleased with Lawnworks and would recommend them without any reservations.
