Exploit Space

We commissioned Jon at Exploit Space to produce a bespoke display cabinet for our new apartment. Jon is as much an artist as he is an artisan and the extent to which he designs in CAD allows the customer to see visualisations of the proposals, which can then we refined such that the final product is as much as you hoped for, and much more. His attention to detail and strive for perfection during the installation is to be admired. We would recommend him to any one looking for something unique and beautifully executed. A true craftsman.

I approached ExploitSpace with a bit of a vague brief. I wanted help in making a room function as a dressing room, an office and a bedroom and have it not looking like any of those! We decided that a bespoke stand alone partition would be the answer. After lots of dialogue and quite a few visits, Jon offered me various priced up options in many different materials. I went for a metal frame and timber shelving affair in the end. Jon kept me really well informed throughout the off site construction. He provided work in progress images and consulted with me always on the design adjustments of the finer details. I found Jon a very straightforward person to deal with. He worked very hard at making the proceedings as transparent as possible from early proposal stages to final design, construction and installation. I’m so pleased with the end result and the room is transformed by the beautiful screen he built.

Great job from start to finish. Jon had everything built to our measurements and the whole walk in closet system went up in a flash. We love it, so practical and hard wearing. We’re no longer ashamed to open the closet door in front of guests, in fact we show everybody who comes to the house, it looks that good in there

Jon completed decking redesign work for us He did a really good job, has an attention for detail and really listened to what we wanted. They are very functional and well-made, and make my apartment look neater. He has also assisted me with other issues in my apartment.

I approached Exploit Space as I was looking to maximise the storage space in my new apartment. Since I didn't want freestanding wardrobes in any of my bedrooms as they took up too much valuable space, I researched into modular wardrobe systems that could be installed by a professional. There were a few but I managed to whittle it down to Elfa as it was the most versatile, tried & tested and offered a lot of options as well as accessories for different scenarios. I was very impressed by Jon's professionalism, speed and courteous response. He offered a lot of variations in terms of the design and strove towards the end product I wanted even though it was a little bit on the edge in terms of the capability of Elfa. I'm really happy with the outcome of the new walk-in wardrobe and whenever I have friends or family over they always comment on how great it looks and how practical it is. I don't think you should have apprehensions when looking at Exploit Space as a company for this work. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Jon highly enough. He was full of great ideas, timely and his finished product is amazing. Our book case has completed our study and we have received lots of compliments.

We asked John to help whip our garden into shape. He did just that with no disruption and went beyond his initial role in providing additional services and products. A job completed which has improved our environment and for which we are grateful.

This company is absolutely brilliant. I have had 5 months wrestling with different tradesmen as my house has been extended but it is so refreshing dealing with Jon. He is so creative and his designs are truly pieces of art. I honestly couldn't recommend Jon high enough as his approach and passion for design is infectious. Yes you have to pay a little bit more than a standard carpenter but it is worth it as Jon produces one of a kind furniture that will enchance your house and add value. Put simply you would be a fool to hire anyone else.

Jon was brilliant to work with. He listened to our requirements ( fiddly spaces, equipment housing etc) and advised us how to maximize the space available. His design ideas were refreshing and motivating. He was very generous with his iterations of design concepts resulting in the finished structure which we are delighted with and which certainly provides a "wow" factor we were looking for. Jon's initial quote and final invoice were all within the budget set and the installation met the timing we had agreed. We have been using the shelving for about a month now and are very happy with it. I am very happy to recommend his work.
