Portland Stair Company

We use McCoy Millwork for stair parts and other various moldings. They have a great huge showroom with various displays for mantels, stairs, columns, moldings and wrought iron. This is a great place to take clients to help with ideas and be able to touch and feel the product. They have the best wrought iron displays for finishes and styles.

Commented: Can you tell me more about the cap depth?The depth of the rabbet on this is approximately 1/2", you can certainly use it for that with a little manipulation. Thanks!

Commented: Dimensions of capHello, thank you for your inquiry. The 1029 has a 1" rabbet, so you could use it for 3/8" if you wanted to rip it down from the back end. Currently, I do not have a perfect cap for the 3/8...

Commented: How thick is the bottom of the header?This architrave, nets at just over 3/4" on its bottom depth. Standard 1x (net 3/4") will work perfectly for this application.
