About Us

PVZ services now includes finite consultations to assist with any mid-design or construction issues, Designer by Your Side packages, specific space e-design projects and my my Zivi custom for you pieces. I have been actively working in this field for over 30 years. As an architect, I have designed buildings and prepared working drawings.. As a designer for a Contract Furniture Dealership. As a Facilities Engineer for a major Aeronautics Corporation. And lastly, as the founder and principal of a full service Commercial and Residential Interior Design Firm. I have guided many clients with a calming direction in the overwhelming process of executing design and construction projects from concept to completion. Together, we have achieved successful and beautiful outcomes for their ideal homes and office spaces throughout New York and New Jersey.

I have worked with Pat for than 10 years, she has helped us design and decorate our homes in both Chappaqua and Florida and a New York City Apartment. She allows you to decorate your house as you see it but also puts her design and great taste into everything she works on. Anybody who has ever walked into any of my homes were always very impressed by the flow and design.

Pat is a talented designer, good listener and gets the job done. I have known her for many years and never met a more dedicated person to her trade. You will be extremely satisfied and even thrilled with the outcome of whatever project you may have in mind. You couldn't work with a nicer person.

Our firm engaged PVZ Design to redesign our office space, select furniture, floor and wall coverings and work with our contractor and our professional staff. Pat Ziv was a great professional who brought many years of experience and creative ideas to our firm. She was a pleasure to work. She was aware of timetables and budgets and worked to deliver a high quality on time product for us.

I have had the pleasure of working with Pat Ziv on several projects since my husband and I moved into our home in Chappaqua, NY in 2005. Projects have included our dining room, master bedroom and bathroom, kids bedrooms and bathroom, mudroom, hallway and playroom. Pat has many strengths including an eye for color, fabric and overall look and feel for a room. However, what I think makes Pat stand out over other decorators is her ability to create real INTEREST in a space. As just one example, when we were recreating our stairwell and she encouraged us to do a Juliet type balcony. Every time someone walks into the house, it is admired by our guests. We love it. Now (Feb 2013) that we are working on our living room, we are thrilled to once again have the opportunity to work with Pat.

Pat Ziv helped us with a couple projects in our home. From complete renovations to decorating help. She thought things through completely and drew everything out as well as layed it out for us to see in person. She thinks above and beyond what we request and came up with some new innovative ideas. Pat also designed our one of a kind bar with all our needs in mind. The bar looks beautiful and holds everything we need. We would highly recommend using PVZ Design.

Pat helped me with the remodeling of my kitchen November of 2012. I found her patience and professionalism to be extremely helpful with my indecisive nature. I had an idea of what I wanted but was unsure of the layout and materials I wanted. She walked me through the process and has an unique ability to problem solve. I was thrilled with the outcome and have recommended her to other friends who are looking for any work they need help with.
