I have enjoyed the distinct privilege and pleasure of working with Mr. Grant over the past three years on the construction of a large estate home he designed. With consideration for the property, the home was custom designed specific to the owners needs, lifestyle and taste. Upon recent completion and reflection, I can truly say this has been one of the most challenging and rewarding projects we have completed to date. As the builder, I will attest that Mr. Grant produces technically sound set of construction drawings which are critical to project outcome. Bill is a good communicator and works well with the client, builder and trade professionals to advocate and convey his design intent. Bill's many years of experience in the home building business show greatly when dealing with Grant & Grant Design. He is well versed in all materials and many styles but he is most appreciated for his cozy cottages or like ours, a dream home on the river. I would recommend this company to anyone, and since we are downsizing now that our children have grown and gone it is possible I would ask Bill to design another home for us in the future.

Bill Grant is amazing. He was able to find space in our floor plan that we would have never even considered; making the plan much more functional, and adding value to our future home! Equally important was his promptness. I could depend on him. His promised changes were always ready exactly when he said they would be done. He was courteous, considerate and just a pleasure to work with. He showed a genuine interest in our project, and even asked for project photos as we progress. Don't even think about using another designer!

We bought a 3 acre lot in Canton, GA and wanted a "country" type home. We saw a house Bill designed in the Atlanta area and contacted him to modify the plans to accommodate our adult mentally handicapped son. He was great to work with and the plan he developed met all our needs. We have since moved but we lived there 12 years and loved our home.

Bill's has wonderful design sensitivity. His designs are thoughtful, organized, and economical - and yet contain a character that says "home". You could go wrong with him...but that would only be if you didn't sign him up for your vision of your home.

My wife and I found Bill to be very professional and open to our opinions. He met with us and took our thoughts and ideas and transformed them into our dream home. This was the second project that we used Bill on. The first one he designed an addition to our old home. He did a great job with that project, so he was the first person we called to discuss building our new house. We developed not only a business relationship with Bill, but we also created a friendship along the way.

I worked with Bill and Tim in 2005 to design a custom home for my property in Pisgah Forest, NC. They did an amazing job taking the vision I had in my head and creating the home of my dreams! I have built seven houses for various reasons over the years and am happy to report that my experience with Grant and Grant was the most enjoyable I have had. We converted a garage into a guest house and I now spend 99% of my time in the guest house! Those guys are first class in every department. They listen, they communicate, and they meet deadlines.
