“David Bartsch and I have worked on numerous projects together on Nantucket Island, he as the Landscape Architect and my company Nicholas Ferrantella Landscaping performing the landscape installations and maintenance. Founded in 1980, we have worked with many architects in the 33 years and David Bartsch is our favorite. His design of a small park on Nantucket Island for Nantucket’s Land Bank is brilliant and "Fair in the Main" has become a favorite place for people to stop and enjoy the peaceful garden and granite fountain. “Laura and her Cultivar team did an outstanding job for us as we did a full outdoor renovation: new plants and beds, trees, replaced the lawn, added an irrigation and drainage system, patio and pergola install, deck work, stone walls and paths and outdoor lighting. We are thrilled with the results and continue to work with Cultivar for maintenance. Laura knows her stuff and is very approachable and easy to work with. She listens to what you want but also offers ideas and suggestions that are spot on. I HIGHLY recommend Cultivar for any outdoor projects you are considering.”

“Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. “Bayberry Nurseries helped us chose a unique tree for our home landscape. The Bayberry associates harvested, transported and replanted our Paviflora on our property. They were professional, friendly, efficient, detail oriented, positive happy energy, hard working and a pleasure to have. I kind of feel they are like the landscape geeks! You know, the people who get really excited about plants and trees and know just way too much about them! This unique experience of choosing materials that are growing in the ground and have to be harvested was such a beautiful, joyful process. It's as if they not only care about the people, but they truly care about the trees and environment too. Justin really spent a lot of time to make sure he matched us with the right tree. We feel as if we have adopted into our family, a living energy that we will be happy to care for and watch grow. It was so easy!”

“She's like a painter with plants. With a superb knowledge of natives. I loved her presentation and her education of us--complete with visuals--on all that she wanted to do with plants. She has a clean, modern sensibility, but with a friendly, approachable, style, even good humor in the work. She's willing to take ideas and bring them to fruition--we came prepared with ideas and she showed us how to make them work. And then, she brought her own smart vision. Vision. That's what she's got. And really knows her plants. It's worth noting that she has so much talent. With this kind of talent, she could be impossible to work with, but she is THE LOVELIEST human being to be around. “The Ream Design team was outstanding in all aspects of the project. They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. We were completely satisfied with their work.”
