Molly Scott Exteriors, LLC
Landscape Architects & Contractors in Friendship.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars9 October 2012
“First met Molly Scott several years ago when she was with another landscape design company. Our project involved designing and building a fish pond and the associated landscaping. The results were awesome. Molly is now helping us replant the portion of our yard that was denuded by the recent derecho. She is reliable, responsible, and full of great ideas. She is also mindful of your concerns. On top of that, she's a delightful person, and I always look forward to her visits.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Theo Condon and Redtwig, llc, and am always astounded at the creativity and attention to detail they provide our clients. From the perfect selection of plant materials to the overall design of the landscape, Theo is in control of everything. On one recent project he designed the retaining walls, the rock outcroppings, the pool and spa, and that was just the beginning. I cannot wait for the next project we can collaborate on since he gives our architecture a special place in the landscape. Jimmy Crisp”

Kerry Lewis Landscape Architecture

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars19 March 2014
“I've worked with Kerry on several projects over the past 8 years, the most recent and largest wrapping up last fall. She is thoughtful and hardworking and I recommend her highly. Her hand-drawn designs are stunning and her sensitivity to your house, your yard, your personal aesthetic is clear when you see her multiple sketch options. She understands plants and choosing the right plant materials. She understands architecture and construction and designs projects that are buildable and meet all building codes while tackling all site-specific issues. As a project manager, Kerry keeps track of all the moving pieces to make sure everything happens according to plan Kerry is highly skilled, creative, organized, and overall lovely to work with.”

“The guys did a very nice job for me, they took the time needed to do the prep work correctly, which took time but the results made it worth it. The driveway done with pavers looks awesome, we modified the pattern to make it more special and its looks great. They cleaned up the street and surroundings , which to me , was very important.”
Mid Coast Masonry
Landscape Architects & Contractors in Friendship.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars21 August 2018
“I had Mid Coast Masonry build a natural stone wall and install a natural stone patio in my yard and they did a fantastic job. Paul Belcher and his crew were extremely professional. We actually had a load of patio stone delivered and after working with it for a short while they deemed the stone to be unacceptable and had the stone sent back. This cost Paul a day's work but he is a perfectionist and wants to make sure that the job is done right. They will go the extra mile.”
Organics Lawn and Landscape Inc.

“The driveway and front lawn at our new home was a mess. The house was built in 1934 and had a tar drive that was pocked and heaved from age and the many trees that had grown around the home over the years, the original concrete walkway which was broken, split and heaved, and a brick walk which had collapsed. Rick came and worked with us to develop a plan to remove all the old materials and replace everything with new, permeable pavers. He and his crew pulled out all the old tree trunks and roots which were buried in the front yard (we counted 5!), pulled up the old brick walk and driveway, dug a drainage pit under the driveway to direct the water away from the house, and installed the most beautiful driveway and walk! The front of our home is now stylish, inviting and the talk of the neighborhood. Rick and his crew were respectful of our home and neighborhood, and kept the cleanest worksite I have ever seen. I would highly recommend Rick for his design abilities, collaboration, insight and work ethic. He is one of the best!”
Gnome Landscapes, Design, Masonry & Maintenance

“We re-landscaped a 12 year old 4700 sq foot house that we had purchased the summer before. The front of the house faces a golf course and when you drive up to the house, you are approaching it from the back, which is unusual for this area. No one knew what door to approach to enter the house. Anne at Gnome created a beautiful design that leads people around to the front of the house. The driveway, stonewalls, and plantings are so beautiful that it takes our guests a long time to arrive at our front door from their parked car because they stop and admire everything. Gnome also installed a large gazebo near an existing tennis court and created a beautiful patio with stone walls in front of the gazebo. They added plantings around the tennis court to improve the area between our tennis court and our neighbor's back yard. Gnome expanded and added to the planting area along our driveway creating privacy for us with plants. They also added stone pillars to the beginning of our driveway that mark where our property begins and the public road ends. Additionally, gnome tweaked the existing gardens around the rest of the property, addressed drainage and excess water issues, and regraded our driveway. In summary, Gnome solved a lot of problems for us in a beautiful way. People remark to us all the time about how beautiful our property is.”

“Extremely professional and talented. Landscaping designs (hardscaping & plantings) are smart & reasonable. Encyclopedic knowledge of trees, shrubs and perennials!! Very friendly, outgoing personality. Truly enjoyed working with Irene in every way. Design was for entire side yard and back yard that included new retaining walls, patio re-dos (small & large) with natural stone, re-working available spaces to incorporate vegetable as well as flower gardens, seating areas, work areas. I cannot recommend Irene highly enough!”
Organic Innovations Landscaping

“Innovative, knowledgeable, hard working, fair. These words describe the process and results achieved every time the Organic Innovations crew helps with our landscaping. Casey always has a fresh idea to make our gardens sparkle, whether a new plant, moving a shrub or adding mulch/stone. She knows what works in Maine and digs right in to get the work done in record time. And, there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Even though I'm a seasoned gardener, I look forward each year to having Casey and her crew show up to do the heavy lifting...and provide fresh insights for a new gardening season.”
