“John Santos gave our 1989 master bath a much needed facelift. The dated, seldom-used whirlpool tub was removed and replaced with a fabulous custom spa shower. The former tiny shower was removed and replaced with a lovely open linen closet -- inspired by a photo we found on houzz.com! The 6x6 floor tiles were replaced with 20x20 tiles. We could not be more pleased!!! John had great ideas but also worked within our budget and timeframe. I highly recommend Santos Tile.”

“Nice guy and conscientious person doesn't begin to describe Chris. He is very dedicated, works unbelievably hard to make sure things get done. Chris made many recommendations on different ways I might consider the installations, he recognized what was important to me and came up with changes suchas a curbless shower entry and trim recommendations. I, unfortunately, ordered cabinets from Lowes (big mistake) but hired Chris for everything else. Lowes continually screwed up and I still am having conversations with them about completing repairs of damages they caused. However, Chris worked really hard to accomplish the rest of the project. Chris would come in behind each portion of the Lowes installation and finish the rest. What should have taken a month took four but Chris at each Lowes completion came in and did whatever portion he could immediately so I could get into my home. Chris came back after each of his various installers (floor, tile, granite, plumber and electrician) to insure their work was properly done and if there was something not quite right he would take care of it, even if that meant working into the evening. Committed, dedicated, creative, talented overall professional.”

“Dave helped me with a custom designed cabinet for our library to achieve a "built in" look, but was freestanding. Craftsmanship was first rate and the painted finish was to our specifications and beautifully completed. Dave and his crew know what they are doing and have the highest standards of workmanship.”

“Michelle was wonderful to work with! Her experience and thoroughness with helping us choose cabinets and countertop for a wet bar area in our newly finished attic space was completely refreshing. She was able to guide us as well on decisions about whether or not the cabinets we chose would work in an area that was more complicated than the standard fare. She was also most attentive to trying to work with our schedule, which constantly fluctuated based on other contractors. Michelle was someone we would consult again if the need arose and provided exceptional customer service!!”

“After living in our house for almost ten years, and being unhappy with our kitchen for about eight of those years, my wife and I finally decided to pull the trigger on a kitchen remodel. We decided that we couldn't do it without the guidance of a professional, which is where Caroline Shillito at emma delon enters the picture. She was recommended by my wife's mother, who had hired her to help remodel her bathroom. From the very first informational meeting, we felt totally confident in Caroline's approach and abilities. Her experience was evident with the questions she asked us and the answers she had for ours. Then moving forward in the process, from the initial design to the impending demolition, she has been on top of or ahead of every step and issue that would come along. My wife and I were able to actually enjoy the process of picking materials and choosing the elements that will make our new kitchen our own.”

“When we started the process of picking a contractor, I have to admit, I was quite nervous. I am an avid watcher of HGTV's Mike Holmes' shows, Holmes on Homes and Holmes Inspection. I've seen over and over on the show people selecting what they thought was an excellent contractor, only to get screwed in the end out of money and a livable space. We received several estimates, and found three whose price was acceptable and the plan was acceptable. (It seemed impossible to get an exact apples-to-apples price comparison because each had some "good idea" that wasn't in the others.) In the end we chose Wake Remodeling because of our checking of their references, our perception of their flexibility, their stated willingness to do whatever would make us satisfied, and our gut feeling of their professionalism and character. We just had a feeling that Wake Remodeling was, as Mike Holmes would say, "one of the good guys." ...and he was. The design was great. The materials we chose were great. The workmanship was great.”
