From his ability to listen to the client, to his development of quality shop drawings of all the casework, to his craftsmanship in building some of the finest cabinets I have seen, I always know that Mike and his shop will be able to build cabinets that will not only look amazing, but will last for years and years. Dickinson also has an amazing showroom that is a real asset to my clients. I can send them to meet with Mike where he can review door styles, materials, finishes, colors and answer any questions they might have about what their new cabinets will look like. I have worked with Mike and his shop on a half dozen projects ranging from full kitchens to small bathroom vanities and I look forward to continuing to work with him on projects to come.”

“No 2nd quote! Yes! I signed my first ADU contract with DH! Either Sam and his team are too good, or I am too blind trusting, and so far, I think it is the former. Sam took me to work sites, and had me meeting designer Shon, on phone with his manager, Idan. The team works very well together. I like that. Sam has the ability to remove all the doubts and questions I have, and he is a creative problem solver I did not mark a 5 star because we just started. Sometimes, Joey don't reply my text right away, I understand that everybody is busy, and I don't immediately reply everything either, and on issues gating the progress, Sam is very responsive. All in all, things look good.”

“Highest Commendations for Tangerine Design. Jill creates functional, aesthetic & budget conscious designs to fit any need. We own apartments and use her ideas to attract higher end clients. Our meetings begin with a walk-through and ideas emerge from the ensuing conversation. Her architectural background results in "functional" layout recommendations that optimize space and flow. An Aesthetic "top-coat" follows--- keeping in mind the design style of the client, layout and budget. Jill can "Manage" or recommend contractors to bring the projects completion. This is an added bonus as many people don't have the time or knowledge to realize their conception. Her strong suit is the ease of communication as is evidenced by her Award Winning Ratings on Angie's List My highest recommendation goes to her company and especially her.”

“Nadja was able to walk into our kitchen and dining room and immediately come up with great ideas for re-doing the entire space. She explained her process thoroughly, which was helpful for us novices, and she was always easy to talk with through out the entire process. We wanted a more "transitional" style than her usual modern style, and she was able to help us with design elements that worked for us. We loved that Nadja will share her opinions with you - we wanted her expertise, but she is flexible enough to work around any specific elements you really love. We hope to work with Nadja again on additional projects, and we highly recommend her.”

“I went with Tree Builders Group on my kitchen remodel and I am so glad I hired this contractor. The project manager and his team showed up on time, they were extremely professional, quick and efficient. The communication was great and they did everything as they promised and as I requested. The final outcome is great and my new kitchen is so beautiful and also much more functional now. All that at very acceptable price. “Sue worked closely with us to create a design for our kitchen remodel that met our needs and preferences. She took the time to get to know us, understand our priorities and how we would use the space. Her knowledge of good kitchen design and collaborative working relationships with other professionals helped us select the products and finishes that would work best for us. She guided us through the process skilfully to help reduce uncertainty and keep our project on track and on budget. Our physical space was limited and Sue helped us think outside the box to make the most of it. Project is in progress, but will gladly post photos in a few weeks when complete.”

“We love our new bathroom! It turned out exactly as we had hoped and planned, and we wouldn't change a thing. All thanks go to Blues Brothers Construction, and especially to Onn. We've done several remodels and this was the most fun and satisfying. Like the other remodels, there were problems and mistakes to be dealt with along the way. The difference with this company is how they handled the issues. In every case, they listened to our concerns without defensiveness and insisted on doing it correctly without shortcuts. Several times, I indicated I would be satisfied with a less expensive workaround, but Onn assigned someone immediately to do it right or even worked the issue himself. This often resulted in something better than we had originally envisioned. The employees and independent contractors were all very pleasant to work with. The tile installer was especially skilled at his craft and went above and beyond in making sure the tile went in perfectly. In a few cases, the installers were not very familiar with the products they were installing, but they were very receptive to our suggestions or pointing out where something was going off track, so everything turned out great in the end. Onn has set up very effective processes for his company. Communication was excellent and the employees and contractors were all aware of the schedule, daily tasks and routines, and the design plan. All the employees were very engaged and seemed to like and respect their employer. Onn's plans were very detailed and made it very easy to iterate on the design and track the construction progress. The professionalism of their process was similar to much larger, more expensive firms but, instead of resulting in increased costs like the others, we think it improved their efficiency and held down costs. As they stated, They are not the cheapest or most expensive contractor, and we found that to be true. The quote was very fair but what set them apart is that the estimate didn't change at all through the design process except for some very small additions that we clearly added. And the same price and schedule held through the entire project, again except for a few small changes we requested. Onn suggested several design tweaks that all improved the final product but all were no cost items and or very minor charges where they clearly needed to order more expensive materials. This was a vastly different experience from other contractors who promised a range of cost but grossly inflated the price after detailing the design even though nothing changed. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blues Brothers Construction for any home remodel and will gladly go to them again for our future needs.”

“We enthusiastically recommend Danny Safirstein and his team to anyone who is planning a home remodeling project. Our experience with them was outstanding. They redesigned and upgraded the kitchen and two bathrooms in our new "dream home"--to our complete satisfaction and within our relatively tight timeline and budget. Other contractors we interviewed, prior to our decision to award the remodeling contract to Danny and team, said that they could not complete the work within our timeframe. Thus, what Danny and his team accomplished was no small feat, especially given the various logistical complications related to the pandemic at that time. What specific qualities did we find most appealing about this team? I would say their professionalism, follow-through commitment, and pride in their work. They really listened to our needs, provided sound and candid advice, and then respected and implemented the decisions we made about the work we wanted done. Moreover, both staff and contractors worked together seamlessly, making it easy on us as the clients to keep abreast of progress and results. It's now been almost two years since the work was completed. We are still busy admiring our new kitchen and bathrooms. And we very much appreciate that Danny has reached out to us a year after the work was completed, just to see that no remodeling-related issues had cropped up after the fact. “We have been working with Sami, Shon and Tom for over 2 years in around the Bay Area. As an architectural design professional, I really enjoy completing projects after projects with them. They are easy to work with, very responsive, honest, and they care about the home owners' budget, time and expectations. Construction is always a heavy task. But Sami and his team make it easier for everyone, including me as a designer. Their team keeps the progress updated and provides all the roles enough information in time for decision making. They do have the experience to deliver a quality service. And from the design point of view, Sami is experienced and can provide really good solutions and material suggestions. In a project, his fast feedback allowed us to change the operable skylights to a better size to save some money for the client. (This project's photos are uploaded below as example, where they converted the existing atrium and small master bath into a bigger master bath and family room) This kind of interactive conversation among the home owner, designer, engineer and the contractor is very helpful to a project. Above all, if you have a project in mind or simply need some suggestion of what to do for your house, starting the conversation with Sami's team is a good choice.”
