IBR Designs

Got to work with Ranjani (and IBR) for the first time in 2021 for the design of our Chennai flat. Right from the get go, she thoroughly understood our vibe and style. From finalising the mood board, to making iterations and giving us a 3D walk-through.. she helped us visualise and set our expectations for the final output so perfectly... she was open to explore and engage in our ideas, always keeping them at the forefront and added her personal touch to every aspect of the house. We recently completed our second project with her - design and execution of our Bangalore apartment. The process was yet again exceptional. Her knowledge and understanding of space and light is truly amazing.. her attention to detail - nothing is a miss, she will literally vet every nook and corner. Ranjani is a thorough professional, highly organised, prompt with updates, follow-ups and site visits. Her calm demeanour is a big plus! I have to mention her team including the carpenters, plumber, electrician, painters, contractor and civil workers. Each one of them are thoroughly professional and skilled. Working with her, has been nothing less than special for us…she understood all our requirements, accommodated all of our small & big requests and had a ready solution for all the issues on site. Thank you so much for making our houses into such beautiful homes with your touch. You have given us truly special spaces that we will cherish lifelong!

Unfortunately, my experience with this interior designer has been less than satisfactory. The design quality delivered fell short of expectations. The initial concepts presented lacked innovation and failed to capture the essence of the vision I had for my space. The final result felt uninspired and did not reflect the level of creativity I was hoping for. Measurement given is not up to the mark for each cupboard. And no flexibility and effort taken to search for the design / item which we wanted for items. We had to compromise on the things which interior could find in one shop. It felt like my input was not valued, and there was a resistance to adapt the design to better align with my vision. I was disappointed with the lack of attention to detail in the execution of the design. Small but crucial elements were overlooked, leading to an overall lack of cohesion in the final result. The project management skills of this designer were subpar. Additionally, there were instances where cost estimates were exceeded without prior consultation, leading to budgetary concerns. In conclusion, my experience with this interior designer was disappointing. The lackluster design, communication issues, and project management shortcomings resulted in a less-than-ideal outcome. I would caution others to thoroughly assess the designer's portfolio and communication style before committing to a project with them. Overall, I cannot recommend this designer based on my personal experience.

This is not the first time I have availed service from her. She did the interior for my previous house 7 years back. So, availing her service of the second time after 7 years itself should explain quality of the work. Designs are every elegant rather than being very heavy, which I always prefer. The quality of the items are always great - the hinges and wood did not need any major repair in my previous apartment till today. Also, there were a lot of design alterations based on our expectations and asked her to come up with new ideas - she has always been accomodative to our thoughts and ideas! Just one feedback - given the amount of projects IBR is handling, would ask to have more helping hands to execute the projects more faster! Overall experience has always been fantastic!! Always recommended!!

From the first steps of general design layout of the house to picking paint, stone cladding, curtain fabrics, and lightings was easy and exciting. Ranjani was able to focus in quickly on our personal taste and design and offer fabulous choices but not overwhelming with too many choices. The installation and follow up with small glitches offered outstanding personal service. Last but not least, her team is always approachable and if anything needed to be solved, they were there each step of the way ensuring the everything went smoothly. Ranjani is the sweetest, most loving and professional designer. We feel so very fortunate to have discovered Ranjani and highly recommend her!!

A big thanks to you Ranjani for the wonderful interiors done for my flat in Aratt Firenza. This was my first experience with an interior designer and I must say the experience was extra ordinary. Thanks for understanding my requirements and most importantly making me understand the designs. The best part was I never had to track you or run behind you or keep asking you updates. Everytime i visited the site and the progress used to be above expections. Very good quality work, neetly done and without disturbibg my neighbours. Working with you was so painless and amazing. Very professional and positive attitude. Would definitely recommend to others (Actually already done to many :-) )

Ranjani is a highly motivated and committed professional. IBR designed and completed the entire interior work in our apartment. She takes efforts to understand the needs of her clients and designs with a holistic approach giving sound advice where ever necessary. She sticks to the planned budget and works with transparency which is a rare quality in this myriad business.

Ranjani has done our house interiors @ Assetz east point recently. She has been very professional & has shared wonderful ideas on interiors (Infact it is completely her ideas) . She is very courteous & trustworthy person to work with. After couple of initial fruitful meetings, Interiors was a zero tensions work for us & was completed with Good quality & in timely manner. A friend of mine introduced me to Ranjani when I was looking for a designer to do the interiors for my 5000 sft apartment. At that time I already had shortlisted two designers, one a close friend and another a designer who had done up another friends apartment. After going through the profile and the work Ranjani had done, it evinced interest in me and I started to seriously consider her. One compelling factor to tip in her favor was she came with fresh ideas and was very flexible to accommodate the several thoughts I had about how I wanted my house to be designed and gave a very appealing concept which was later incorporated. She always went beyond the call of duty and ensured the project gets the due attention even it was beyond the realm of her contract. She has a very excellent professional and well mannered team working with her. It has been a delightful experience working with her. While I strongly recommend her to all my friends and family, I also wish her a very bright future.

Fantastic work at a very reasonable price!! Gives personal time and attention to every work done. The carpenters are also very experienced and does a real good job. I would highly recommend her.

Found the work to be carried out in a professionla way. The estimates and budget was mentioned in a detailed way at the very start. Was open for any suggestions and found the team to be responsive and coperative. The work was delivfered with good quality and on time. We also received various ideas to for the design and material selection which made it easier for us to decide.
