The founders, Lauren and Meera, started Cross Currents with a single vision. That of making possible for everyone to realise their dream home. Without breaking the bank. A partnership that goes back 24 years, Meera and Lauren met at design school and have since worked on over a hundred interior design projects - big and small, residential and commercial, and everything in between. A partnership that has been all about blending styles and design aesthetics. Simply put, Lauren is the yin to Meera’s yang. This merging of complementary sensibilities has been at the very core of Cross Currents. Together, they bring to Cross Currents a flow of ideas and skills that blend together seamlessly. Over the past few years, the Cross Currents team has grown to include a group of equally talented designers, all of whom share Lauren and Meera’s passion for creating beautiful spaces. Bitten by wanderlust early in their careers, Meera and Lauren have traveled extensively exploring the arts, crafts, and culture of the regions they visit. It was during one of these travels that they brought back a small, hand-picked consignment of one-of-a-kind artifacts. The collection sold out in no time. Encouraged by the response, Lauren and Meera launched the Cross Currents store, with a desire to provide unique home accessories that are anything but commonplace.
