“Bailey did interior design for our apartment. She and her team changed paint colors, floors, lighting fixtures, and furnished and decorated the entire apartment. She was on budget and on time, and we love her design. The quality of work is great. We think the purchased goods are as good as they could be for the budget. Bailey is trust worthy, which was so important for us because we found her and worked with her remotely from another state. We only came over when Bailey had finished most of the work. It was a pleasure working with Bailey. She listened and brought our desires into her design. It was a great experience working with Bailey and we love the result of her work.”

“Our project was our new home. From the ground up, Sue & her team, Trans-Pacific Designs, worked with our architect & builder to realize our vision of our seaside home. We had specific ideas on how the house would look & feel & Sue was able to interpret those into a home that flows, not a jumble of disjointed rooms. She listened & then searched until she found just the solution that worked for the house & for us. Built-in furniture in living room & library, vanities in master, guest & powder room plus a lovely koa island in our kitchen were all designed & overseen by Sue in the construction phase. She was able to coordinate with painters, furniture makers & other related subcontractors. If problems arose, she & her team corrected them. If I wanted a certain light fixture or sofa she made it happen, even if it meant working with companies who do not normally ship to Hawaii. As an example of perseverance, my husband requested a recliner for watching television but the one we had picked was discontinued. Sue discovered that the company still had some frames for that chair & were willing to finish them for us. Above & beyond! TransPacific Designs won an award for our kitchen which is probably my favorite room. Glass tiles in greens & blues for the backsplash & swirling aqua colored stained inserts that she found for the cabinets brought the ocean right inside. A dream realized!”

“From the moment I met Kassandra she had an energy that was positive and rejuvenating. She has been such a pleasant and professional person to work with and we are grateful to have worked with her. My husband and I had bought our first condo in 2016. After living in it for 1 year and turning it into an air b&b, we discussed the ideas of renovation but didn’t have the time or creativity to execute such a plan. Upon meeting with Kassandra she listened intuitively, as we expressed our hopes for a space that could reflect both creativity and simplicity. Based off of our conversation, Kassandra, with limited time for this project, put herself in full swing and gave 100%, to make this dream a reality for us. She was so creative in the process and brought to life all of the visions we had. The condo is more than we could have imagined or could have hoped for. It is creative, simple and yet, vibrant and unique. Kassandra always took time to explain things to me and always made me feel at ease. “Inge helped us with many interior projects at our luxury vacation home on the Big Island. With her expertise in window covering and interior decorations, we replaced all the blinds on all windows and doors in the house, matched colors, design and material for sofas and cushions. She even helped us with furniture re-conditioning and repairs. We can't say enough how appreciative we are to have someone who is so knowledgable and resourceful. “I hired Studio Palomino to design, project manage and decorate the 2019 renovation of my kitchen and master/guest bathrooms. Additionally the firm oversaw the painting of our entire interior and an overhaul of the furnishings in several rooms. I chose the firm because its eclectic, casual yet sumptuous style and sensibility totally dovetailed with mine, and I appreciated the proprietor’s (Barbie Palomino) low-key yet decisive manner. The entire project was complete in a little more than 6 months and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The contractor she chose was also top-notch and extremely easy and responsive to work with. She always presented a variety of options in a range of budget levels and price points, focusing on my taste and preferences, rather than one standard style, all while guiding me to making the best, and often delightfully unexpected, choice! “We were in need of refreshing the look of our home that we had purchased and furnished five years ago.
