“We found Nile by searching the ASID.org website seeking a well-regarded interior designer. We were attracted to many of Nile’s designs on his website, and hired him after interviewing several other designers. He stood out from other designers in the ideas he could offer in only our first meeting. We had very little time to devote to designing our home yet had high expectations, and entrusted Nile to help bring out our taste. The job involved designing and furnishing our main floor rooms including family room, living room, dining room, and foyer in a large open concept house. Nile did a fantastic job, offering us choices that reflected our style, and providing his expertise on how to bring our eclectic preferences to life. He struck the right balance in advising us when our ideas may or may not work out, providing lessons learned from his experience and those of his peers, and effectively communicating with us throughout the process, from start to finish. He is a consummate professional who repeatedly demonstrated why he earned our complete trust through his skill and ability to produce incredible results while effectively managing our interactions. “I had recently swapped my dining and living room furniture as we never used the living room, and only used the dining room for larger groups and needed lots of space a couple of times a year. Sarah Herman's came recommended to help me with curtains, carpets, light fixtures and artwork, transforming my furnishings into masterpieces. She was exceptional at tuning into what my preferences were and came up with beautiful options in my budget. I could not be happier with the end result. Every single person who comes to my home compliments the decor of these rooms. I love sitting in my sitting room (previously the dining room) as it is warm and inviting. The new dining room is spectacularly outfitted with a classic Tuscan feel that adds a lot to our culinary experiences in that room.”

We also wanted to update the interior, making it more inviting and use-able for our family needs while still honoring the feel of this century old home. When we first spoke with Emily, we knew right away she would be someone to help make this massive transformation, a joy, rather than burden. From start to finish, Emily was incredible, patiently listening to our visions for the house, curating designs, textures, colors, and pieces, all based on observing and understanding our own styles. The finished result - a house, a home, that is exactly as we had envisioned, making better use of the space, while still keeping the original charm of this house. Emily was spot on with her eye…. “Simply put, Ginger Woods Design just gets it. Ginger and her team took my wishlist and miss mash of random idea and turned my vision into a reality. They were so easy to work with and completely understood what I was going for, even when I had trouble expressing it. When I was at a loss for ideas, they had amazing suggestions. Ginger was always accessible for a question or a quick email with the subject line "what about this?". My commercial project - a play cafe - was unique and we did not have much in the way of a model. The end result is fantastic. Our business is booming and not a day goes by when someone doesn't say: who designed this? Where did you get that? What a great idea.”

“This husband and wife team are amazing! They have unbelievable talent and are so personable. Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. You can not go wrong with this talented pair!!”

“Stephanie worked with me during a whole house renovation to select lighting, paint colors and other fixtures for my home. Once construction was complete she completely decorated my entry/living room. It is a uniquely shaped room and it looks absolutely stunning. She was so wonderful to work with and provided amazing options to choose from. “I have retained Karen Cronin on three significant projects. The most recent project was the move from my primary residence(4000 ft.² plus home) in South Jersey into my current residence (large two bedroom apartment at the Ritz residences in Philadelphia Pennsylvania). I am a divorced father of two. I own and run my own business. I work long hours and travel extensively. Bottom line-in a move like this I needed a tremendous amount of help, and based on my previous experience with Karen I had every confidence in her abilities. She exceeded my expectations. On the front end of the move Karen took responsibility to vet and retain movers. She supervised and coordinated the packing of my home, and the move. A stone the size of the home and the amount of furnishings very little was used in my new residence, which required that belongings and furnishings be donated or stored. Karen handled all of this. She was on site for the move out of my South Jersey residence, and coordinated with the building Philadelphia to handle the move-in. She had everything planned well in advance and it ran like clockwork. Because I was moving into a totally different style and size residence, Karen needed to completely design, furnish and accessorize my new residence. This required her to spend considerable time in advance designing, measuring and providing the options based upon my taste and pricing parameters. This move encompassed everything from furniture, to art, lighting, kitchen appliances, etc. Karen furnished and designed for the foyer, living room, dining room, family room and bedrooms. Karen coordinated with the vendors and my building to make arrangements for all deliveries and installation. She handled placement and timing of art. She worked with selected and vetted multiple vendors, including the movers, electricians, plumbers and carpenters. She has exemplary communication skills. We communicated multiple times daily. Based on our extensive experience together my trust in her judgment is absolute-yet, she took no steps without authority. I have absolutely no reservations about giving Karen complete access. She is completely trustworthy I have no reservations about recommending Karen Cronin. I can assure you I will be hiring her again. Completely dependable, the ultimate professional. Punctual. And, she has great taste. My place looks awesome. Constantly receive compliments. Can't go wrong with Karen Cronin!!! I would have no problem speaking with anyone considering Karen.”
