“I never thought that everything my wife and I shared with Eric during the whole process would come to reality. Especially within budget! From the very first sit down to the final walk through he was right there with us. We had tons of questions and he answered every one of them. He showed us both how easy it is take a house with walls and floors and make it our very own home. The detail was amazing. Thank you especially for making it useable, not just ‘frills’.”

“Like many families in our Upper Arlington neighborhood, we decided to build an addition and update our home instead of move. We had an idea of what we wanted, but thinking of the design details for a new project was overwhelming. Luckily, Megan at Cedar Grove Design & Co. came highly recommended to us. We immediately felt comfortable with Megan and confident that she understood what we were looking for. We were blown away during the design presentation. Every detail that we had mentioned was shown in a way that was better than we could have envisioned. We appreciated not having to make decisions on the fly or sign change orders during construction because of design changes. We had a plan that we were excited about and committed to, which made the process so much more enjoyable. Megan was in contact with us throughout our project to ensure we achieved our vision. “We hired Jennifer to work with us on a couple of projects in 2013 and the outcome was amazing. We are thrilled with the new look of our home. We started with decorating the living room and then decided to turn our unused Dining Room into a Home Office. The transformation is wonderful. We painted, added some Ikea bookcases and then Jennifer's team made a custom computer desk that we absolutely love. After that project wrapped up, we decided that we loved it so much we wanted to complete the downstairs so we moved to the Kitchen/ Family Room area next. Jennifer's vision is amazing. The outcome of those two rooms is nothing that I would have ever come up with myself and let me tell you it is absolutely beautiful. We painted all the cabinets in the kitchen and the built in bookcases to match in the Family Room a lighter color and also painted the walls much lighter as well and it really makes the room seem larger and much more open. It is so cozy and inviting as well. Jennifer is great to work with and her designs are beautiful!”

“Pam sat down with us to choose paint colors, accessories and furniture in our new home. We previously had Pam visit our home near Marietta to plan color schemes and a paint schedule. We are so pleased with how things turned out. We told Pam what we were keeping and showed her pictures of our newly purchased home. She made a complete paint schedule and listed accessory colors for our rooms. We love her work and will continue to use her for our next move!”

“I have known Megan Dove professionally for many years. She is highly skilled, meticulous, trustworthy and a wonderful person. What I love most about Megan is that she combines expert structural detail of a home along with beautiful interior design ideas. She has simple affordable solutions to projects that can be over quoted by contractors. I was struggling with remodeling my late 90's traditional home: painting stained woodwork, matching original oak flooring and combating soffits. After failed attempts and feeling defeated I was elated to find out Megan had opened her own design business. I reached out to her and she responded with energy and confidence that she could help me create what I was looking for. The space in our home that needed the most improvement was our tiny first floor powder room. The cabinet was original to the house and the soffit enclosed the small space. Megan's design ideas, cabinet design and paint selection has now made this my favorite space in our home! I highly recommend Megan for all projects large or small. She is the best!”

“I have admired this firm for 25 years of my life. Mary Beth helped me in my 3 story tudor. I came from a very simple one story ranch . When I got married our second home was a very strong personality home with rich wood beams and gorgeous wood work (We discovered later it was stained poplar wood with orange shellac). Inside were beautiful light fixtures . When turned off they were a teal blue color. When turned on they were a beautiful orange color. After many lone hours sitting in my tall staircase; I gort Mary Beth Hughes. In my living room she selected floor lenghth pleated draw curtains in 3 wide windows treated as one and 2 single, separate windows in an English floral pattern with a somewhat navy background with peach and orangish peonies. Flanking a gray stone fireplace are two peach love seats. Now here is the talent of Mary Beth Hughes. I still have the same curtains and the same loveseats. Why? Because she used TIMELESS patterns and materials. Today stripped hardwood floors compliment them . Many perofessionals have said the curtains would cost me at least $30.000 dollars if I have them made today. Off this living room is a 6 window study. It came with one and a half banded metal blinds. I remember asking her, " What about these blinds?'. She said ,"Keep them. You can't do any better." The blinds are still present and goes lovely in the study. For over 25 years I thought what a wise and brilliant interior decorator Mary Beth Hughes is in Wheeling. I want to share her with Houzz readers.”
